@ Charles Sels #1: alright colors, but the shape of the thing is a little too playful

a letteform mark using the letters "nye" would be nice

It seems as if some of the designs were inspired solely by our company name, "New York Environmental," hence the leaf- and tree-based designs. Our company is more like an architectural, engineering, scientific, or consulting firm. Environmentalism-based components should not be featured in our logo.

For future designs, please stay away from gradients and keep things simple; the logo should appear well in mass-produced black-and-white media.

i have a question, is this the whole state of new york or new york city?

As stated before, our logo should not have any sort of environmental display; please stay away from things like leaves in the logo. Rather, think of our company as any other consulting firm.
