The circles represent individuals, couples, families and children...children are represented by smaller circles. The open arms represent the counseling group...this design gives the feeling of hope. please respond with feedback, it is important to me. Do you like the color? font? i can take a totally different avenue, so please share your thoughts.
The concept is well thought out. The main critique I have is that the font is too futuristic for my taste. I think you have something here, so would definitely be interested in seeing future incarnations of this idea.
Not quite, regarding the font. Looking for something with a little less heft, and perhaps less rounded. All of these still seem too futuristic to me still. Thanks. jbf
Got to step away for a bit. Play around with some ideas and I'll comment as much as possible later today. I like a lot about your latest, but am not in love with it. Somehow the previous designs had a greater emotional appeal than the most recent, but I like the spirit of lightness and elegance to it. - jbf
11 and 12 don't clearly convey their intention, but I really like what you did with #13. Maybe you can play around with the colors some and possibly tweek the font for "COUNSELING GROUP". The overall font is light and airy but, the whole logo, especially since it is so rectangular, is kinda blocky, which makes it seem heavy. I'm new to this so feel really limited to give the best advice possible, so please understand that I am just trying to do my best and help you with the process.
i completely appreciate your feedback...any feedback given is more than important. thank you. will work on developing my idea. When you say "play around with the color", do you want completely new color ideas, or preserve those colors and use more contrasting shades?
Here i played around with a different font for the "counseling group" . i also used a different shade of green and added some movement to the word vision...so it doesn't seem to blocky... interested in completely new colors? You feedback is outstanding
Hey Vidi. I didn't comment on #14/#16, except by ranking them, which I figured said something. But, to be more specific... for #14, I think the font is too playful and childish. For #16, the font is a little too peculiar, which is unsettling to the eye, and the graphics of the V too busy. Kinda reminds me of a flower or a glass of champagne with bubbles. It's pretty in a way, for sure, just not quite appropriate for the overall look I am going for. To date, I'm still the biggest fan of entry #10. I just wish I knew what to tell you to make it even better. It does seem that it could be used as the logo for an eye doctor. Seems refined, but maybe too cold and clinical. Not enough spirit/inspiration? I actually liked the personality of your first designs better, so maybe you can find a way to merge the refinement of #10 with the spirit of those first ones. Hope this helps. jbf
here is a picoral mark for your request, with an Asian/minimalist feeling, to keep up with the atmosphere of your company. With your feedback, i can make any adjustments to this or bring something completely different. Your feedback is important. Does this work for you? Are the colors too pale or just right? The font is kept simple but with that asian feel.
#26, I like the logo (it certainly has the right spirit) and also how its color matches the line. I would say that particular color seems a bit weak though, too caucasian-flesh. Also, I really do not care for the fonts, especially that used for "new", which is too overtly Asian. The Asian influence really should not be too apparent, more in feel than anything literal. Has potential, but for now I have ranked it 3rd amongst those you have submitted to me. My rankings can change all the time though. I'd say try some new colors (esp for the pictoral mark) and some new fonts, though "counseling group" seems alright.
i've seen many designs here don't excentuate what your business is...and that's a counseling group. I feel it's very important to clearly be able to see "counseling group" in the logo.
here is a design that will work perfectly on letterheads/envelopes. i've given a slight hint of Asian feel and brought a pictoral mark. Anxiously waiting for feedback on this.
i've looked at your site quite a few times by now because i wanted to feel a closer inspiration for your logo. What really stood out about your group is, how you've transformed your space to bring a less clinical environment to your clients... i really like that. Originally i wanted to perhaps design your abode..but that may come out too oriental looking. so with this design, i've pictured your space as being a warm and secure one. this is what my design looks like as a representation of your space
Interesting approach. What website did you look at? If you looked at www.nvgroup.com, that's us. Well, in a way, I am about to purchase the business, hence the redesign. To get feel for the future of new visions, maybe you could check out my personal website, www.jasonbfischer.com. A friend just told me about a website called colourlovers. Do you know it? It offers some pretty fascinating color combinations, so maybe that's a place you could check out for some inspiration. Unexpected colors may add some strength to the pervasive sense of serenity in the logo thusfar. I'm not 100% sold on the latest font either, for much the same reason. It really does make me want to go to the beach though! :-) #39, the pictoral mark is intriguing but maybe too busy and the design is too pale overall for practical purposes on letterhead and the like. I like that it's not obviously birds. I wonder what else could go there with a similar effect. Also note that I changed the contest end date!!!
Thank you for the color inspiration site...i've added more colors as you can see. you mentioned you'd consider a pictoral mark with just the letters along side the title...Here you can see the N and the V in my design...what do you think?
The latest grouping is my least favorite of your entries. We've lost the delicacy and inspirational aspect of your other designs. The colors are a little depressing (oops, opposite effect) and the pictoral mark suggests something shattered and broken. When you look at it, do you feel calm and soothed? This is an important aspect for me. I'd like the logo to have a positive emotional effect on the viewer, even if this is just from the simplicity and refinement of it. Even if a logo makes intellectual sense, this isn't quite enough. In many ways, I do think less is more in this regard. I really do appreciate your tenacity and you clearly have many good ideas and a sincere desire to make something I'll like. Let me ask you this: If you opened a counseling clinic by this name, what logo would YOU make for it. Try pleasing yourself rather than pleasing me and we'll see if that gets us someplace unique and wonderful.
Vidi, FYI.... your design entry #10 is way closer to being ranked first than you realize. I'd say that, right now, it is pretty much tied for the lead. I wouldn't change it or try to make it better, since I like it just the way it is. I just thought you should know.
if i had a company with this name...this is what i would design....and if you were my partner, you'd tell me to use less depressing colors...perhaps i'd make it a bit more creative...however, creativity can be a bit complicated...
ok, it got more creative...the 6 circles symbolize your therapists in the group and the color of the circles (therapists) matches "counseling group". Notice how the first circle(sun) is beaming a very pale blue light towards the blue New"; it's also beaming a pale green light towards the "VISIONS....very subtle...and those are my new visions.
Entry #82. Trying to get on here to comment as much as possible. You've really gone hog-wild! Good spirit and I get how all of the elements translate and serve a purpose. The subtlety of the light rays do not translate from a distance and would be troublesome for use on letterhead etc. How the logo reads "at a glance" is important. Entry #10 is the best, at a glance, because it is so simple. This one seems overly complicated and the trapped white space, at a glance, leaves the logo looking choppy and disconnected. PS Out of curiosity, why do you withdraw some of your logos?
#93. Cute! That's really the only word that comes to mind when I look at this logo. Unfortunately, cute really isn't going to work. While being hopeful & soothing & inspirational, the logo still has to maintain an air of professionalism and seriousness. Quite the challenging combination, for sure! I like this logo, it's just a little too childish for our purposes. Think of trying to find a logo that would appeal to men and women equally. Not sure what I can tell you specifically to change. What if you tried merging the layout and color scheme of #36 with your pictoral mark from #93 (using new colors)? Would that be interesting?
Interesting. Biggest issue seems to be the pixelated nature of the edge of the leaf. Can that be made crisper? I'm also starting to think that, for ease of printing, the logo should contain two colors.
