Thanks for your submisssions

#2 is my favorite so far. I like the lettering and the root structure below the box. I also like the box giving the impression of a house without being literal. I prefer the color of green in #3 and the leaf in #1 but would like to see some other colors. I also prefer the "New" to be green and "Roots" to be brown. I would be interested in seeing some variations on this logo with different sizes/ shapes of roots and maybe the top of the tree looming above the box.

I really like the home in #3 because of the negative space roots within the house but it may be a bit too dark in its mood for a home inspection company though I find it visually pleasing. #3 also seems disconnected. The name seems seperate form the home.

After seeing all of these I realize that I prefer the lettering in #2 and #1 the best. I also prefer the name to be larger and longer as in 2 and 3.

4,5 and 6 look good but I've seen similar logos for home inspectors before so I would like to stay away from the magnifying glass symbol.

#1 seems slightly cartoonish but I like the leaf. Perhaps that could be incorpoated into some other logo.

I still want to see the logo with a moniker.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing more.

The new designs are better. I originally was a fan of #11 because it was bold and full but I think that it's a bit too somber. It may resemble a tombstone a bit too much. What I do like is the light streak through the name and I'm really pleased with the tree above, but the bordering seems to be muddy around the roots. And I definitely prefer the larger root system like in #10. The addition of the leaf in #8 and #9 is a good touch and I'm not sure wether I prefer it between the name or above it. But I'm sure that I would have to choose between a leaf in its simplicity or the tree as in #11. Maybe you could play with more filled-in backgrounds as in #11 incorporating some of my preferences.

Thanks again.

Hi there,
Thanks for the feedback. I have submitted several designs based on your preference and
liking. I also had a time to submit a new design based on your attached file.

I Hope you like them! I will do some new designs if time permits.

Regards,
Chris

O.K. so #30 is very different from the rest of your submissions and I think that it may be my favorite right now. It's clean, attractive and would work well on a business card, pen or a car.The colors are catchy and I love the moniker (is it a moniker?). At this point I'm torn between the commercial friendly logo of #30 and some of your other pieces that are more creatively appealing. I'm asking some friends for their input to help me out.

Again, I really appreciate the time and effort that you've put into this. Thank you.

Exactly what I was aiming for. The good thing about this version is that It incorporate everything. First the house as the arrow heads, Next the cycling motion that suggests In and Out. Next is the movement present in it. and Finally being Green which is inclined with the roots.

The more I look these over the more I appreciate the subtleties of #30. The colors are bright and eye catching. The name is clean and professional and the circle is similar to the recycling logo which I think may play to peoples subconscious about my company. But I aslo like that you made each side the top of a house. That was a great idea. What I would like to incorporate from your new submissions is the window lights of the house in the circle. Could you also give me a second one with the window lights under the W in New and in the circle.? I would like to see it with and without. But keep the Letters the same as in #30.

Wow I'm flattered.

I did the revisions as requested. I hope you like them. You can rank them 1,2,3 so you can see them side by side to compare.

Goodluck on your contest!

I was hoping for the opposite of what you gave me. I want the lights in the circle and not under the W. But it's good to see both. I just think that the lights under the W may be too many.

Now when I choose this logo do I have to request the different variations (black & White, color background, etc.) or do you have them ready to send? How do we go about selecting a color background?

So thanks again and if I could get one more like #76 with the lights under W taken out I would appreciate it.

I'm sorry to misunderstood your comment.
How about this one? #88

LT only requires us designers to submit 1 logo for the final file in .eps and .jpg formats.
But if you want I could send a b&w version to you via email. BTW
what background colors do you prefer?

#88 is great and I'm deciding between that one and #76.

I'm not sure about the background color. I was just reading in the LT FAQ's about requesting different versions of the logo and I wanted to take advantage of all of the opportunities. Mostly because I've never used a logo before and I want to cover all of my bases. I can see B&W being useful for merchandise like pens and maybe a solid background for larger marketing pieces. Do you have any suggestions about the background color?

I realize that you've already put a lot of effort into this and I appreciate that. But if you could help me understand what I may need as far as variations go and with a background color it would be very helpful.

Thanks again.

well we can start at black anway printing companies and web designers will be the one to execute the final.product or output. if i were to be the winner i will send you the black and white version plus a one with a black background. eventhough you can see a white background for now it can be changed easily.

If I own the logo will I be able to modify it? Will I be able to take out the windows if I wanted that change?

And I am going to choose yours I just want all of the information before hand.

Logo Designer
Yes you can modify it. It is in vector format thus you can modify its colors, size, etc. plus all parts of it are movable and replaceable without the loss of quality or whatsoever.

I didn't receive the B&W or black background logos unless they were in the eps file which I can't open.
