I like this quite a bit and definitely think this is a candidate. The triangles maybe aren't *quite* balancing? Would it be possible to make them just a little less wide without sacrificing heft?Another idea, though I kinda doubt it would work, is that oil some vintage BG sets, there is a circle capping the tip of the points -- that would probably ly mess up the balance worse . . . but those points do look so . . . pointy! But this concept is definitely top 5 currently, and easily the best "of its kind" at the moment.
Oh, waitaminute -- I just looked back at your original design -- I like the anchor placement integrated with the horizontal line a lot better -- could you try reintroducing the triangle "E" with this design? All three triangles can be the same green.
I like this despite the absence of overt backgammon graphics! Is the kerning a little off on the spacing of 'E' between its neighbors? Could you make the anchor black? (not that it will have a big impact).
I think this one is just a little too 'busy' -- two visual "ideas" may be too much,, making it a little too much work to read the letters as letters . Could we try a simpler approach with a normal letter 'E' and the big letters all in Green while the anchor and club name at bottom in green? I think it might have better impact?
This definitely has potential. Using points for the 'E' is an economical and effective means of getting game iconography into the design, so we could do without the doubling cube. I think green & black would serve better than green and blue. The anchor is welcome, could tinker with placement maybe?
