ok here is my entry...its different than what the others are submitting... when you review my submission, please think along the lines of Mossy Oak Breakup...or something like that.
my submission is a tree that appears to have another layer being peeled off. i did this because i wanted to represent how your product looks legit in the natural habitat...the peeling is to show that the images are the same, but the back, darker tree is 'real' and your product would be the 'peel' layer...like a mask...
i didn't go with the camera shutter route like the other people because i think a camera isn't really a huge part of your product (besides just taking the pic of the spot you want made into a blind).
sorry to ramble...please feel free to give feedback or let me know how to improve this for you. thanks. Kyle
horizontal layout...also forgot to mention the custion type treatment of the a and m in camera seemlessly going together to give your brand a custom look.
Foo Fighter fan, These are beautiful and I do like the font choices? However, they don't speak directly to the hunting/camouflage seeking crowd like the others and as described in the project. These logos are excellent examples of design and speak more to the outdoors/tree farm audience. Once you get back from your weekend hunt I would like you to dig deeper into the contest description, competition, and web links and give this a second try.
i'm trying to think of something for you, but have been fighting off illness as of late... hopefully something will click and i can resubmit a fresh idea for you.
i gave it another try...i incorporated the Capital C into a target/crosshair-like emblem. i think the C/target could be used on its own too as well as in the wordmark. let me know what you think.
The latest entry looks interesting. Can you incorporate our camouflage image into the type and also submit some different font style variations before the end of the contest?
here is a new font that works with the C and your cammo pic is included. question for you: just wondering why you want the cammo in the actual logo. i'm assuming it will be printed on the cammo material, so wont a cammo logo on cammo be hard to see?
just thinking from a printers POV. also if the cammo is just for the webste, i might suggest using a cammo background in the header instead of in the logo....
just some things you might want to think about. i'd be happy to advise you on any such decisions (give you feedback form my personal experiences with web and print).
here are a bunch of new ones with different color schemes, some have gradients, others don't. there are also 2 versions where i worked in the cammo to the target and took it out of 'flage' just so you can see what that looks like.
here it is with a slightly thicker line overall. it is actually a really, really dark green color. if you want to see it in black i can show you that too.
here it is on a dark bg. i did reduce the stroke size slightly because it looks a little cleaner on a dark bg with the smaller stroke. let me know if i can make any more improvements or if you want to see some other mockups.
here is the version with the 100% custom type i made for cameraflage. i made it look modern, but also have a 'tough' feel to it as well. these versions also have the deer and 2 kinds of waterfowl (plus cattails) like you requested. let me know if you want to see anything else.
Design #265 Can I see this without the inner circle? (Just the crosshairs) Maybe a lighter shade in the outer ring. Do you have any other font ideas for this design? I know that this works because of the way the "c" fits into the bullseye but is there a way to make the rest of the word in a more square font?
