Also we have a concept that we are looking to explore.

The idea of adding the equivalent of a Samurai family crest http://www.samurai-archives.com/crest1.html as the mark next to the logotype. The crest based on 3 waves in a circular triad constantly tumbling forward. This is the style of line http://gingatao.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/the_great_wave_off_kanagawa.jpg. A severely cropped portion of that repeated might work?

Just an idea if anyone wants to tackle it...
