#2 has a nice touch. #1 reveals to me that I'm not interested in having a book of any type in the logo...the name sufficiently reveals that it is a book company. Thanks for getting the tourney launched!
Mike, you are still definitely in this competition. Thanks for your creativity. As you re-think this, 2 suggestions: 1) Think in terms of the logo on a book spine -- a little more vertical orientation would be helpful. 2) With #2 and #3 could you think in terms of an evergreen or cedar type tree vs. leaf trees -- this company originates out of the Pacific Northwest -- Cedars abound.
Thank you again for the feedback. I can most certainly keep in mind the spine of a book and the vertical orientation. I will also research some evergreen and cedar tree foliage vs. the leaves I created.
Hi there, I working on thinking up another design but finding it difficult to come up with some original with everyone using the tree in the "T", etc. I will try to submit another 1 or 2 before the end of the competition.
You are trying hard and we appreciate it. How about this idea? Take #34, place "Tree" (with its current graphic) on the second line below "Nesting". Add the word "Books" if you need to in order to give it balance. (We didn't really like the extra large font for "tree" in #108.) No promises on our end, but we haven't given up on this concept yet. Thank you!
Dear Designer, I want to thank you for your great contribution to Nesting Tree Books. Your design concepts—creative and professional—stirred great conversation and interest. Sadly, I can only choose one winner … which I will do tomorrow morning. If your design is not chosen, I want you to know that it has been a pleasure to work with you and I wish the best for you. God Bless, John Stumbo Founder, Nesting Tree Books
Thank you so much for the opportunity to submit entries for your logo! I pray for success for you. Should you need any further illustration or web design services, please feel free to look me up at mikesofka (.) com
I'll keep you in mind, Mike and add you to a resource list I'm developing. I sensed from the beginning that you were probably a Christian. Blessings! johnstumbo.org
