Buongiorno! Here is my initial concept for your consideration. Though I know "nero" is Italian for black, the first image it conjures up in my mind is that old wives tale about Emperor Nero playing the fiddle while Rome burned. I got to thinking that the using the head of a violin might make for an interesting letter "N", so that was the inspiration for this design. I am in love with Italy by the way. Absolutely beautiful country, and Rome is, in my opinion, the most amazing city in the world. I can't wait to get back! Thank you for your consideration. Your feedback is most welcome. Grazie!
Hi Lindsey, thanks for explaining your line of thoughts and inspirations. You're the only one that did it and I truly appreciate.
I appreciate your enthusiasm and see you're in love with an idea of a classical and ancient Italy surely of strong charm. However that is not framework of reference.
We live in a stylish, modern Italy, that loves to relate with the contemporary world. We're more after such kind of identity for the logo.
Also we make products that are quite classical, for older people or formal contexts, as well as very trendy. So the identity can't conflict with any of the two extremes.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. I've gone back to the drawing board for something more modern and clean. Thank you for your consideration. Ciao!
