What We Do
Needham Link is a branded Intranet for a regional bank called Needham Bank.

Color Preferences
Current colors include:
Main color is maroon: 130 0 36
Secondary color: purple 125 42 130
Seconday color: green 126 165 54
You can use other colors as long as they are complimentary to these ones. You do NOT have to use all the colors above, you can use any combination and others.
Also, this logo will be primarily for the web, so use gradients, or shadows or 3D effects. Having a logo that can be offset printed in 2 or 3 colors is only a secondary consideration. It may or may not ever be needed.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
This logo will be the primary graphic for a new home page we need to design. See the current one here:
https://remote.needhambank.com/prx/000/http/localhost/login
This means that the new logo plus a login box will be the primary information for the new Intranet home page. Not much more---very little text. The layout of that page is completely open. Therefore, one idea might be to create a logo where the login box could fit inside it and still be easy to read. On that note, stay away from any symbolism that might make it seem like there is a little or no security. After all, this is a bank that people place their trust in!
For reference purposes, here is the main corporate site: https://www.needhambank.com/Index.aspx. This new logo will be less visible than the main corporate logo, but there should some "connection" between the two, either by color or style or symbol.
Overall, the design is wide open as long as it has some common attributes to the corporate identity.
