#1-#4 stray too far from the original design language. We need people to look at the logo and think "associated with New England Clean Energy Council". By turning the 3 bars on their side you've stepped too far away. Recommend keeping those three bars in like they appear in the NECEC logo, but feel free to add new elements, and/or play with colors, etc.
41,42,43,48,49,50. This is interesting - I like how you've brought trees into the bars. Not so fond of the power line in 43. I've got a bunch of people reviewing designs and not sure there will be an appetite to modify the shape of the bars (because of NECEC) but i appreciate the out of the box concept while holding true to the original. Will be incorporating other's feedback shortly.
Thanks. Possible to try 66 connecting the first leg of the n to the i in institute making it a long i (maybe putting a dot above?) I'm not describing it well, but hoping you understand.
The team likes 107, but we'd like to see a few modifications.
Please take another look at the current existing logo for the New England Clean Energy Foundation (posted on the contest). We'd like to see a version of 107 that.... 1. treats the bars exactly the same way. (rounder tops and bottoms and fades from dark on the bottom to lighter on the top), and; 2. the necec color be made grey (like new england is in the current logo). Fading the grey into the green where the stem of the n meets the i of institute, and; 3. more closely match the green with the existing green in the current logo, and; 4. slightly modify the font (the c's in the current logo are a tiny bit narrower and the e's are slightly different also)
we will try to get the current font over to you and the current color type to you in the next hour or so, but if you can attempt a few changes before then, we would appreciate it.
1. we can't find the original font name. but please look at the "e" in yours vs. the original. the stem of the e in the original extends further than what you've showed - if that can be tweaked, it would be great.
2. can you make the transition from grey to green more gradual where n meets i?
3. finally, can you try a few different greens for the word "institute"?

everything is perfect.. im just far away from my PC.. yesterday im only use my smartphone, so i cannot doing anything.. but it will be finished at this afternoon..
hi andrew.. its updated now..!! i have some problems here.. from the contest started, i cant found the the font of NECEC.. so i decided to create the custom font.. but the nearest font is "antipasto" but it still needs a modification. better if you ask your last designer, what font is it..?
on the Font, we have the same issue! None of the people currently working here were around when the original logo was developed, so we don't know the original font. (We've been looking). What you've done is close enough I think.
the power is still out here, but i was able to find a wifi hotspot.
I was able to track it down, apparently the font is called "T-26 -- DEFUSED-REGULAR" ever heard of it? http://www.t26.com/fonts/817-Defused Let me know if you have a copy already, or if we can enable this.
I will click "winner" today, but would love a few different versions of the logo (small, medium, large, each with and without a white background - the "without" would only be the bars and text and any image we place it on would show through the gaps.) i'm not sure how the competition software works, but I assume this is possible?
Best, Andrew.
