We are a community organisation that is looking for a logo for a community newsletter (and website). We are based in Roebourne, Western Australia (6718) and are focussed on providing community programs as well as training and employment opportunities for Aboriginal people in our predominantly Aboriginal town. Our town sits proudly alongside a river, and surrounds a large hill that we use as a lookout. Our town is host to Aboriginal people who come from the vast Pilbara range and sits adjacent to the economic powerhouse towns servicing mining/oil gas industries nearby. We are proud of our people, long, long history and the wide range of activities that emanate from our organisations. The newsletter is our way of sharing the vibrancy and activity going on in this place. We would like a logo that illustrates our natural landscape and the multiplicity of activity going on round here. Please research Roebourne or use Google Maps the view the town. The newsletter will be used to promote news and information from our local Aboriginal organisations and businesses.
