There are elements of this design that we like, for example the circular shape of the logo is the same shape as a compass, the trees, moon/sun, terrain but somehow feel that it could pop more by adding different, perhaps brighter colors. For printing, some of the text might be a bit small. The hiker is perhaps too big a part of the design. It's a team sport that incorporates running, kayaking/canoeing, biking and repelling so it might be too narrowly focused.

Thanks for resubmitting some designs. We like the direction you took on these last 2. We're thinking a few changes could make a big difference for us on #8.

-If the main text(Natural Selection Adventure Racing) was made orange.
-the inside ring(currently a reddish orange) is not working for us. some things worth trying include: (full white ring, full orange ring, a quartered ring with alternating white and orange(like an orienteering flag), or perhaps even a bright green.
-The background colors for the running man and the kayak are 1 shade or 2 too dark perhaps, and we're not sure about the purple bg for the kayaker.

You had previously posted a design with a footprint and withdrew it, I was wondering if you were working on it?

We really like the concept for #17 and #18. Few minor things:
-font on "will you make the cut" is a bit too hard to read.
-color of the text "Natural Selection Adventure Racing" could be a bit brighter - to make it pop a bit more.

Thanks for resubmitting designs for the footprint concept. Unfortunately we still like the originals best, #17 in particular.

We thought perhaps a muddy bike track might look good going across the design in addition to the foot track.

There is still something about #14 that we like, but aren't sure how it could be improved.

Added the tire marks per your suggestion and I added a watersplash to signify the water races also.

Thanks for the changes. I like the concept of water and tire tread. Can you try it with the tire track straight and parallel to the foot track?

Thank you for the revisions. #52 is the one with the better colors, but it looks just a bit too jumbled.

The competition will close soon, and right now we like #17. Should you not win, be sure to give us your email as we may want to buy #17 from you as a second logo. According to LT this is quite typical and accepted(after competitions close)
