Color Preferences
Trees - medium and darker green
Stream - medium to dark blue
Landscape - different shad from tree to stand out
Black - possible to distinguish different pieces
Writing - black, white or colored depending on artist choice
Other colors welcome but should not be to cluttered or complex
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Simple landscape with 2 - 6 trees (examples liked: white oak, swamp white oak, bur oak, white pine, river birch, larch) with a stream cutting through or next. Idea is to depict trees in natural landscape supporting and sustaining the environment. Trees should look real not like a cartoon. It should be catchy to the eye.

The attached publisher file is an idea layout for our street side sign that will be installed. It will be minimum 24" tall x 36 - 48" wide. The tree in the middle will be REPLACED by the winning logo. The logo must be multicolored. Tree images used should look much better than the one in my publisher file. A more oval or elongated logo would probably look better on the sign. Logo will also be used on business cards and letterhead.

Of the 6 styles logo selected as a guide - the top 3 for preferred combination would be 'Forest Growth', 'Kenley's' and 'The Cove'.

Fonts: like Calibri, Times New Roman, Helvatica, Frank Ruehl. Similar fonts are fine but must be conservative and readable. Idea for road side is to be readable from 100 - 150' (obviously at high font size ~250 so letter are 2 - 3" tall) and smaller for letterhead/business card adjusted for card purposes.

Thanks everyone. I look forward to seeing everyone's ideas!

Thanks for the entries so far. Please keep in mind I am looking for a multicolored logo not a single green colored logo...Also name should be legible as full business name. Thank you.

Landscape design and/or oval partially outlined in design would be interesting and also allow for a more multicolored logo with different features in the logo.
