Color Preferences
We are open to any combinations, but are most interested in combinations made out of some (not all) of the following colors: orange, blue, red (minimal), green, dark grey, white and/or yellow.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are open to designers ideas. Our initial focus will be on legal education, but we would like to eventually branch out into other professional areas. Therfore, it may be best to focus on the letters "NJR" rather than the full name "National Judicial Review." Here are links to competitors websites (we don't "love" any of the logos, but we have ranked them in order of most desirable to least desireable):

Designers -- although we initially really liked the look of the sphere/globe in the design, as more entries are coming in, we are preferring a more abstract or academic design. It will tak a long time for our company to be global, so we are now realizing that something more abstract or suggestive of the law or learning is best. That being said, we have not yet ruled out the idea of the globe/sphere.

Designers -- following up on the comment above, we are liking the use of the pillars because they are suggestive of both law and learning, without necessarily being limited to law. We would love to see some more designs using pillars or other similar symbols.

Designers -- following up on the comments above again, our market is primarily lawyers. Lawyers tend to like simple sophisticated designs that suggest power, control, knowledge and competence. Subtle legal symbols, like pillars etc. may be good, but they are best if they are more abstract/not too obvious. We initially were not considering using those types of symbols because they tend to be overused, but example #2 used the pillar in a less obvious, more sophisticated way, which is why we like it.

We really like the font on entries 2, 3, and 5. They look more sophisticated than some of the other more block-ey fonts.

Designers -- we really like the look of the logos currently ranked 1-9. We will most likely select a design that has a similar feel. We would love to see more designs with a similar look and feel -- powerful, crisp and sophisticated to give our business a look of success and authority. We probably don't want any scales of justice, unless they are done in a very unique and abstract way. We are ok with pillars and other abstract designs. Thank you.

what a shame, I did not realize that the contest ends and after design several logos I can not climb the top5, that hurts.
