Discussion

Hi Carla, Thanks for your entries. I will discuss them with Dr Sid in a short while. Let's get his feedback before I make any suggestions for refinements. Many thanks, Lisa

Good morning Carla, Thanks for the new entries. I put 34 tops because I feel all of the type is readable and the hearts give it a friendly feel. However, am not so keen on the grey color as I feel it definitely would not go with the colors we are planning on the website (the exact shades are not finalized, but will probably remain predominantly orange with green). That may be true of the kids' clothing as well. Having said this, please dont' withdraw the exiisting designs. If Dr. Sid in his heart prefers subtler colors, we need to discover this now. . . . If you have time to try with a brighter color palette before this evening, when Sid will look at the designs, that would be great. Also, I prefer the kids' expressions in 23 and 27. In 34 and 35 they are heading toward what I call "scary children," something we were trying to correct in commissioning a new logo (see muthaigapaediatrics.com for the old one). We would like parents to feel that they will be entering a calm and tranquil place when they visit the clinic, an advantage Sid's practice provides over most local clinics, which are chockablock with parents, restless siblings and nannies who have been brought along for the occasion. Hope this helps. Lisa

Hi! I made a new option with bright colors. The left kid has the african map in his t shirt. The center kid has an african flower. And the 3rd has an african symbol. Little details that contextualizes the client. All the kids have a happiness and a peace face. I hope you like it!! :)

Great work, let's see what Dr Sid has to say.

Hi Carla, Sid still hasn't looked at any of the designs so still turning over ideas on my own. My 15 year old, who's quite artistic and has taken an interest in his uncle's logo, says you might try giving the expressions on the kids' faces a little variation while still remaining happy and peaceful. Go for it if it's something you'd like to try. Lisa
