#3: Overall attractive design, like the n and 1 integration, although not clear if there might be a way to subtly include an equals sign. I would like to potentially have the symbol and the lettering be each able to stand alone, which they can't do.

#52 is very clever, might too "blocky" over the long term, but can you add an "n equals one" to it somehow?

Hi !

Thanks for your comments, I'll work on the blocky aspect of the logo and will incorporate the company name... be back later with the solution.

Love the simplicity of #53! Sometimes less is more! The more I look, the less there is to criticize!
With the grey in it, it may also survive a drop down into the black and white of a photocopier.

I agree... I'll continue to work on a solution for #52. You might end up with a Logo and a Signature. ; )

Sometimes the use of the logo as a stand alone image is catchy... and for other usage, the signature could be very classy (ex.: on the bottom of a t-shirt).

Thanks

I agree with your comments. I will likely use different parts of the logo for different things. I have bike frames, bike carbon rim sets, sunglasses and swim goggles in mind specifically.

Elegance in simplicity--#105 has that! Just worried that the logo alone would be too simple, and just look like a Walmart brand or something.
#104 is a bit confusing--some will see that as two letter "i"s.

Hi PMF,

Ok... here goes Subtlety/simplicity/Anti-Walmart/cube-less style. ; )) just kidding but your comments are good. I love simplicity, it goes a long way.

#107 Is very simple... it is what I was working on. I like the Dynamics.

As you can see in my designs, no overlapping, no transparency ... all easy to reproduce in black/white or by embroidery/screen printing/small web image.

#107... simple, elegant even, but just a little too hard to discern the one and the n... and even the equals sign is no longer obvious. Sorry!

Me again ! ... always trying to keep it simple ; )

Catchy icon! Simple it is! The "N Equals One" part might stand an upgrade though. Several of the ones I have ranked recently have chosen some edgy fonts, taken the spaces out, and even italicized the letters to appear (to me anyway) fast and/or trendy. Can you do that with yours?

#148 has the equals sign in the spaces...what would it look like filled in?

Thanks for playing with this. How would it look reversed, with the spaces clear, and the n1 filled?

Hi PMF,

I'm working on something else... here are some other variations. Thanks !!

Looking forward to your next ideas...!

One other variation while you are still on these #148 themes is to use the combination of black and red as opposed to white and red....

Can you also try #156 and #157 simply right side up and straight across? Then a small equals sign could bridge the second space horizontally, maybe.....in white, or even black.... just a thought.

Hi PMF,

New designs and some of your demands. As I can see on your top choices, some tend to leave the equal sign? is that what you're looking for ?

Thanks !

The equals sign do not need to be obvious, and as you say, some have eliminated it. Your new collection has spawned some ideas for me:
#189, without an icon: the way you connected the n into the e, can you do that with a one, gradually changing colors into black so that you could sort of see an equals sign in the transition... might be interesting.
#184 is a nice simple icon, although I think it would be just as effective upright as opposed to angled. And if so, to recreate an image that you did before (with an upper case N) the "1" might be slightly larger.
#185 is worth pursuing also, perhaps as a solid red or black n1, then with a black equals sign, or somehow with the equals sign within the joining loop between the n and the 1.
#177 and #181 are interesting, but lose the "1" part for me, and if anything, I think I slightly prefer variations of a lower case n.
The nequalsone part needs to be recognized as three words by more than just colors, in case of a black and white reduction.

Thanks for your efforts!

Hi PMF,

Thanks for your comments. I'm surprised with all your nice comments on my logos that I don't even make it at least in the top 3. Are you sure something in my collection is interesting you ? ... I see some very poor logos in your top ten. Sorry about my honesty. ; )
