#22...

Thanks for your submission. I like how you broke from the themes of the other designers. I think the shields are a cool idea, but I would make them more elongated... I'm thinking Middle Ages. The "X" on the front shield is too prominent. I would go more subtle. Also, it seems kind of arbitrary to have an X on the front shield but not on the ones behind it.

The font is interesting. I like how it's different, but I think I would like something a little less serious. Finally, this shade of green doesn't work for me. I think other colors might work fine or at least a different shade of green. Maybe some shade of purple would work...??

I look forward to future submissions from you!

#24 and #25

The fonts aren't really working for me - too serious for a Web2.0 site.

I'm not totally sold on the drawing and colors. While the shields look cooler to me than #22, it is possible that this effort at realism made the subsequent logos less appropriate for actual use on a Web2.0 site (please refer to the link in the general comments section that shows hundreds of Web2.0 logo examples).

While the shield concept is not a bad one, I am worried that the current configurations make us look like a firewall/virus prevention software company.

Is there some way to change the shields and font in a way that solves these issues? Do you have other different concepts?

Thanks!

#48...

Is it possible to do this one with a regular tie instead of a bow tie?

Thanks

Sen,

Can you do #48 with a regular tie and slightly bigger font??

The graphic in #47 is kind of cool, but the font is very boring and almost unnoticeable. Also, I think it is too abstract to win this contest.

#49 is a fresh approach, and I love that you have done that. This is kind of arbitrary on our part, but we would prefer not to have the wings as they are currently drawn, as they look like we're an airline.

We love your line of thinking here. Not sure if it's possible to change the wings in some way to make them less airline-like.

... I think it would be better if we somehow saw the angled lines of a suit jacket with some color contrast for a shirt and then the tie.

... not really bad, but it doesn't really work for us. I think the three stacked shapes (shield, star, and circle) make for a busy image.

... I like the use of the letters "MPA," since that is how we refer to the site internally. I think the graphic is close to being very good, but the stacked shapes used (circle-star-circle) and in these colors doesn't work for us.

Please iterate on this design. I like where this is going....

Thanks!

To be clear on #73, I think that just changing #48 to have a regular tie would be great. You don't have to be able to see its full length; rather, it could be covered by the bottom of the jacket.

Also, the shade of the font color in #73 is not great. It is a bit too blue in hue/tone(?).
