Color Preferences
Black and platinum (grey). We are also happy for a small amount of colour to be used to enhance the logo, if so we would prefer a blue (royal blue, turquoise, not navy)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We would like to see something with an abstract or pictorial element along with the name. We would like this element to be able to be used and recognised separately from the full logo when required.

Discussion

Client
Just to help everyone with some direction, some points that have come up in discussion looking at the current logos in the running:

*We need to keep black and platinum as the main colors, however we don't mind if some blue is used to highlight for effect.
*You will noticed that we are tending towards logos with a lighter style of font, not to blocky.
*We need a logo that has a pictorial or abstract element as well as the name, so that we can also separate the pictorial/abstract element from the text in particular forms of advertising. (some examples of this are Nike, Apple, Professionals Real Estate and Firefox)
*The pictorial element can be something unique, it does not necessarily have to relate to finance, just needs to stand out to be a recognizable icon.

I hope this is of some help :)

Also one suggestion that has come forth should anyone be keen to give it a try is for the pictorial/abstract to be the form of a platinum coin or medallion. Not a certainty, just an idea. Thank you so much for all your efforts, certainly some talented designers here.
