Are you reffering to the mark or the text? text is free for use for everybody as all designers know. As for the mark, I think it is pretty original by itself and it is not borrowed. I can change the font at anytime if you wish
Just one more variation please - could you try #72, but for the logomark, could you use an earthy red, and for the text, could you replace green with the same red? Keep the blue please.
One more if its OK? #81, but with wavy book, and maybe a little 'redder' or just slightly brighter colours - i feel the little people are getting a bit hard to see
Thank you :) Maybe rainbow colors for the screen background - i'm very undecided about colors at the moment, so any fun combination you can come up with, i'd be really interested the see
Here is the first variation according to your requests. I will be submitting different variations with the colors to which you gave a link during the next hour or so. Would be great if you could keep me posted with your suggestions so I can get them just right.
Excellent, thank you, I look forward to seeing them.
86 looks good :)
Please can you create one variation as well, where the screen has no stand. And one with some type of border or bubble, or sticker effect, so it can be used on a dark background.
I know it's alot of variations, but I can't picture them in my mind until i see them :)
I'll have these options ready for you shortly. Also I will be submitting a new concept tomorrow morning which i think works quite well with what you had in mind for your company,
I love these retro color palettes. Glad you preffer them since my monitor design is retro also so it goes great with them. I will move around these colors so I can get them in the perfect order.
Thanks - I really like these colors too! I'm happy with the feel of the logo. I just need to think about the colors for a while before I decide which ones to go with.
Do you have any other suggestions/preferences?
And you mentioned earlier that you have another concept in mind that you think would suit..
I was thinkin of turning the wavy book into a monitor, just by adding the stand to it and the shine effect. Think it is somethjing you would like to see? Also, my opinion would be to have the colors in the screen going in a natural order, for example not have red next to blue, but something like red, orange, yellow, green, blue, but in these retro shades, or actually stoping at shades of only one color, for example shades of red, orange and yellow, or shades of blue, green, purple. That way we can have less of a headache while looking at the logo. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by bubbling...can you explain further, or maybe provide a lin to an example?
:) Are you getting a headache? Too many colors do you think?
I like the idea of putting the colors into their natural order. I like the colors used in #114 and #115 (and #119). So lets stick with those now.
I was also thinking that maybe, we could try, as you mentioned, just one color for the text. So say if you took #114, arranged the colors in a natural order, and then made the text all the same color as the first color used on the left. Do you think that would work?
By bubbling, I just meant the border/shading around the logo.
Thanks again for putting up with all of my requests. I know there's a lot!
Not sure about making the book into a screen, I'm quite happy with the how the logo is progressing now :)
I've uploaded some more options according to your latest comment. The shading around the logo works great when you put the logo on the website and can be applied to dark color backgrounds with no modifications.
The issue is when printing, because the cost to mantain the quality will be a bit higher, but I can provide you with a version without the border to use in print. Many companies I've worked with have the two versions. Because it may look great on screen, but in printing it's another story.
I'll be making some modifications to the logo and upload some options right away.
Using a neutral color for the text (which I introduced into the screen also (as the border)) gives a certain professional look to the logo, and emphasizes the mark on the left.
I can also give you any color option you want so you can decide whenever you want:) It's been a pleasure exploring the world of colors in this manner, really!
