Font is important - I like fonts similar to Futura but would also be interested to see cursive style fonts.
I like the smitten kitchen logo (www.smittenkitchen.com) but don't want to rip it off.
icon - maybe a simple stylised broccoli image (see image) or a whisk... but an image is not imperative - only want an image if it really adds something to the logo... own ideas/suggestions are very welcome.
