Josh, I'm more concerned with style than legibility. I love the concept of #8 if not the design itself specifically. One thing that might be interesting is that technically my name should be David Della Nave, so if the initials DDN rather than DD could be worked in, it might be cool.

TahiaDesign_F, you can gather a lot from the Stylistic Sliders in the Brief. I think giving much more detail than that would just be confusing.
