My Lucky DayLogo Design Contest

I really like number 13, but it's awfully similar to the AustinMusicWorks logo (my company that owns/manages the band) so I'm likely biased. I'll need to get feedback from the rest of the band before ranking.

I didn't know the AustinMusicWorks logo... Now I google it and I see that have 2 stars too. I created this simple emblem based on the contest brief, but please let me know if you want me to change the shape of the emblem or anything else.

The general sense I am getting on logos # 8,9 and 11 is that the double lines are reminiscent of the film Boogie Nights and the late 70's, early 80's. So the font is not going to gain traction with the band given that they are looking for a "modern" feel. Perhaps some variations with different fonts would prove more appealing.

I understand what you mean about the font in #8, #9 and #11.
I'll work on it and in some variations of #14.

I really like #74 - it's clean, simple, incorporates music, will be a low stitch count for embroidery, and should be relatively inexpensive to print and, I should think, will look good in black and white. My only hesitation is that it doesn't feel "fun." Not sure what can be done about that, but if you have any ideas, I'd like to see.

I've uploaded #115, #116, #117, #118, #119, #120 with new fonts (I think that they feel a little more "fun") and with white & black backgrounds for you to see how they look.

With respect to #14, one of the guys in the band was wondering if you could make the circle look more like a CD or vinyl, perhaps by putting grooves on it.

We expect that #139 is what we will go with, but I would like to see a modification and have asked the band for any additional ideas before we lock it in. Could you try it without the stars? Also, when we get the logo, can you also provide the RGB/CMYK codes so we can incorporate the colors as appropriate on websites, business cards, etc?
