We love these, especially #58. A couple of comments: the clarity of the quill seems better in #61 & #63, but we like the gray scheme. Is there a way to make the quill read better in that one? Also, would it be possible to have the line that is tracing its way through the text continue onto the box and start at the tip of the pen (in a subtle way)? It would make the line in the text feel more purposeful. And lastly, if you think it can work with the concept, can you try it with some fonts that are more like #39 (Maybe both in all caps - which works well in your scheme - and in upper lower case (just to see it). I don't know if different fonts will work with this scheme - since it works so well now, but we'd like your opinion.
Thanks for the great entries.

Thanks for the great revisions. I'm afraid I steered you wrong with the font, which I thought I might, but for the sake of thoroughness thanks for doing those. Your original font is much better. The box in #69 seems to have the right tone - not too light, not too dark. Can you combine the text from #58 with the box from #69? As for the line in the box, it looks like if you continue the line in the text, on #58, from right to left and continue the arc as it comes out of the M it would come pretty close to the tip of the pen (without the extra little curve in #69). Maybe the line could then be used for a subtle change in tone to imply a ground plane (same tone as the lower part of the letters). Sorry if I am rambling, or if this doesn't make sense it's hard to explain in words. Thanks again for the beautiful work.

A couple more suggestions. For now anyway, can you eliminate the grey background, and scale up the entire piece so we can see it better (we'd like to see it fill more of the little preview box we get to look at it in)? We are concerned with this in printed media (letterhead), so the grey background is a little distracting (although good on screen), and we need the quill to read more clearly.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the new revisions. These read much better on the screen, thanks. I'm not sure that having you add the line in the box worked as well as we had hoped. #100 is exactly what we asked for, but the gracefulness of your original curves is lost and I think that if you take the curve up too fast it gets too close to the pen. Can you maybe try some variations on the line in just the box, without it continuing into the text? Maybe that would give you more freedom to have an elegant arc coming from the pen tip, because it won't need to work well in the text too. Kind of like #98, but with a single sweeping arc, and no line in the text. Also, can you maybe try something that combines grey and green? We like the grey, we're just not sure if we are ready to give up all the color though. As a company we are having a hard time deciding whether to move away from the green or not.
Thanks again for the tremendous effort!

These are great, thanks! Particularly like #106, #108, & #111. We like the idea of initials in the logo (we'd like to be able to use it independently on some items), but these are close to being too abstract. Can you make them read a little more like the letters they are while still keeping their simplicity?
Again, these are terrific, and we really appreciate the tremendous effort and talent behind them! Thanks.

Thanks for the new entries. Again, they are nice, but the quill looses some of its clarity with the white field below it. Also, we are leaning towards elements with a square instead of a circle.
Thanks again!
