Murray or MD or MurrLogo Design Contest

I need a logo for my sons Bar Mitzvah. The logo will be used on t-shirts, sweatshirt jackets, mugs and other items we will give out to those attending. My sons name is Murray. You can use his full first name or even Murr, or even his initials, MD. colors we like are "burnt orange" with black and/or gray. maybe some hints of a muted teal. hoping once i zero in on a few designs that i like, that we can play around with colors to see what works best.

my sons # on his hockey team is 19, i might want to incorporate that. as he loves hockey, maybe there is a sophisticated way to incorporate a hockey stick.
