I have chosen your contest, because I see that quite a few people still struggle to find the right logo that speaks to you. I have made you several designs that convey motion, dynamics, getting things done, etc.
I really like #167, thank you. Could you please make a few adjustments..... for example, perhaps remove the grey line under the graphic and also see if the strapline works any better in upper case.
With 20 hours to go in this competition, I am really torn between your logo and the first ranked logo. Even my family, friends and some clients are evenly split between the two so this is a very hard decision. So in making a decision between the top two logos, it would really help me out if I could see the logo a few different ways. For example: - With the graphic on top of the text - Any other minor variations / options that you think might me make my decision.
But overall I really like the logo you have submitted and I thank you for your work.
I have completed the requested changes and hope they make your decision easier. I have also added a black and white version for (faxing, sponsorship applications, financial statements, etc.).
Apart from that, I have uploaded another option with slightly different rotation of the mark/symbol - just for comparison.
Hello and thank you for making the requested changes and adding the other versions. This did help me make my decision and, as you will have noticed, your logo is now my most preferred, so I am hoping we might now be able to make some minor edits to the finer detail and get this finalised.
Two changes that I would definitely like in the final version is for the dark blue to be a little darker and for the "p" in municipro to change from the dark blue to the light blue (from left to right). The other logos I have short listed already present the "p" in this way because I specifically requested this of those designers during the competition, so you need not feel uncomfortable about replicating an element of another designer's logo as the idea for the two-colour "p" was mine.
Beyond that, I would still like to work on the strap line a little more. I am undecided between a dark blue and light blue strapline, so wouldn't mind seeing both as options. The upper case for the strapline makes it more readable, but I also like the placement of it in #165 and #207. Could you look at a few different ways to present the strapline in terms of colour, case and placement. Otherwise, I would be happy to go with the way you have presented it in #206.
Oh, and one other thing further to the message above...... could you please play around with the font and see if a slightly different font could enhance the logo even further. (I do like the fonts used in the 2nd and 3rd ranked logos.)
Thanks for working this through with me. I am slowing narrowing it down. I have decided in favout of the new font (eg #231) and I like the darker blue. I have also decided to go with the upper case strapline. I can't decide, however, between the light blue and dark blue strampline..... do you have any thoughts / advice?
The only other variation / option I would like to see is to present the strapline in two lines just so that it is a bit larger. So using #226 for example, having the words STRATEGIC PROJECT stretching all the way to the "p", and MANAGEMENT directly underneath. Could I please see how this looks both in dark and light blue (upper case please).
Changed had been submitted. I do, however, still prefer the original (dark blue one). It is just neat. One way to facilitate this decision would be to send you both options and you can always have a change of heart if you decide that the dark blue isn't working for you anymore.
I agree with you that the dark blue strapline looks better, so let's go with that. Is the dark blue the same dark blue as in "municipro"? I assume it just looks lighter on the screen because its not as think(?).
I like #226, #232. Regarding #242, could you please try the suggestion from my previous message; that is, placing STRATEGIC PROJECT on the top line all the way to the "p", and MANAGEMENT left justified underneath?
I've narrowed it down to #232 and #245, or in other words, with red horizontal line and without. Could you do both of these (#232 and #245) with the graphic on top rather than to the left, as I would like to be able to use the final logo in both ways depending on where I am using it.
Also, with #245, could you slightly reduce the size of the graphic? It feel it dominates a little. Not too much though... just more like the size of the graphic in #232. If you want to position the graphics in any of the logo slightly up, down, left or right, please feel free ...... whatever looks best.
I think I am agreeing with you that #247 and #232 are best. My only concern is that the strapline in these is smaller than when presented over two lines. The only reason I would want the bigger text strapline (as per #245 for example) would be so that it is a bit more readable when I use the logo in an email signiture - i.e., smallish. When I have tried this with #247 and #232, the strapline is a little fuzzy. So my question is: once I select the winning logo/s, will I then be provided with higher resolution files etc?
If so, and if I can be confident in the readiblility of the strapline on screen and in print, then I would probably go with #247 and #232. If not, is there any other way to make it sharper / clearer?
Thanks. What exactly have you done beside make it lower case again? Is it darker / bolder? Or as a general rule does the lower case read better and clearer than upper case?
Changed the font to the best font regarding readability that I know of. This makes it larger as well because it is a condensed font. We cannot go wrong with this one.
Fantastic. I like #250 as it is. The one final change I would request regarding #251 is again to make the graphic just a fraction smaller in comparision to the rest of the logo.... say 10% smaller than it is now.
Then, if you would be kind enough to do both logos as a one-colour logo like you did in #214, but with white logo on a light blue background (i.e., the same light blue as per the "pro" in the colour logo), then I would be happy to end the competition there.
