The logo is a look from the front of the engine. I can come up with other color variations. One thing is for certain this won't be a printers nightmare! As soon as you get into those fine lines, the more difficult it will be to trap. I think this is a simple approach, and I hope you will agree. But if it isn't to your liking, I have other concepts I can produce for you.
Entry #20: First impression is I think I really like it. Bold, easy to read, simple but to the point. Take a look at the font used in the letters to maybe geta more traditional look or classy look to it but still be easy to read on print material for a distance.
Changing Fonts, more traditional. Copperplate and Engravers MT. Moved Mt. Pleasant Below, I think it is more legible. Added Distinctive Beers and Ales. Moved Est 2007 on top.

An update from your comments of entry #23. I am not sure if you want the mountain scape to be black also, so I will submit one as blue and one as black. Thanks for the speedy followup and comments and the the direction with the fonts, I hope these meet your specifications better. The more I look at this logo, it will look very sharp on pint glasses, bottle necks, and tappers. Any other direction that you would like to see please feel free to express. This is a lot of fun.
The mountain scape on this option is black instead of blue. Also I added a stroke of bronze on Mount Pleasant, just something extra. I am not sure about it, makes it look blurry.
This I think is the best so far, but you are the final judge of that. This logo besides the train, the name, the mountains; I added stars above the outer ring, and by doing this it can create a story or it can relate to the number of people that started your Brewery or it can be the specifics of the number of varieties of beer or it identifies the number of planets I grew up until some astronomer didn't like Pluto anymore and made it eight. I thought that would make a great addition. I included only 9 stars but I can apply more or less
My last attempt for a win. One last effort. Going with a weathered look to show that you have been around for a while. I could go with a black logo as previous, but I decided to go with the metallics. Good luck with the business, maybe I will drive through and stop in for a brew one of these days. It has been a while since I have been to Michigan.
