I think i have done and am ready to prepare the final files for you. You'll get #661 in the separate attachment, and yes you'll get multiple file formats.
I will also prepare "mountain toppings" and dog/mountain images in separate files. so it's possible :)
I'm prepared to pick this as the winner. A few thoughts, knowing this is the final one, is there anything you would tighten up?
I see 661 as the white version of this logo. And want to confirm I would receive files for that as well.
Assume I will receive all of these in multiple file formats (pdf, svg, etc.)
In addition, I would want files for the type treatment of the name by itself - just the "mountain toppings" . I would also want a separate file for the dog/mountain image also.
Assume you would share information on the PMS color for the green, and any font family selections I might need to purchase.
Do you agree with all of that? Is that all possible?
Thank you, Doug! I should get some sleep too, it's 3 AM here. But it is a pleasure to work together with you! I hope i'm still on top until you finish the contest :D
I've narrowed it to the two of you, with you in the top position. I'm going to sleep on things and come back to this later tomorrow (it's a holiday here today). I love where this landed - and I'm a big fan. So don't worry about no communication for the next 24 hours.
Very last request, can you add the "Golden Dog Farm's" to this version? I think I would want another thin ruled line to keep it all within the unit, versus it just sitting on top of the existing logo. But defer to your expertise. Also, I know it is late there, so will not make any more requests.
Can you do a few variations of this one and 616 against different colors. Just for sake of illustration of what it might look like on a bottle of maple syrup, or jar of honey, or jar of jelly - where the product color is creating the contrast. We'll probably actually never see it on green based on our product line-up? I appreciate your patience with me.
I'm afraid that you will have 2 different logos then. But will still work to optimize it.
I was wondering if we use a Golden Retriever silhouette like my #251 entry, but with more clarity so that you can notice it was a golden one. Can we do that?
Thank you. I appreciate all of the exploration. I imagine that we will be using the white on most of our glass packaging, and that the background colors will be whatever is in the packaging - maple syrup, honey, grape jelly, etc.
And the packaging will be the primary use of the logo, so wondering if we can optimize the dog illustration to be most visible in this version, versus the color version. I'm not sure if that will work, but when reversed, it looks like we are looking at a photo negative of a dog versus when it is in green. Could we switch that around? Or is that not possible?
Let me know if you have a question about this request, or whether or not this comment makes sense.
Separately, I also like the shape you did in 618. Not sure what shape will make most sense - but will be mulling that over.
Apologies for not giving you any input until now. Thought that I had this morning. But never hit post, just typed in the comment box and went to the next one. Sorry about that.
Of the other options you did, I was thinking about 538 - where you contain it in a diamond shape - could you explore that a bit more? Or maybe not that exactly, but one of the things that I am thinking about are the lines above the mountain which balance out the current ranked choice. Beyond providing that balance, they don't really add to the communication. Are there other ways to achieve the same thing, or to make the entire logo unit a little tighter instead, which is what you did in 538.
Other than that - the only other thing I will be evaluating these on will be contemplating how all of the top 5 logos end up on packaging with different product/flavor names. Let me know if you have any thoughts or questions that you want to share..
Again, apologies for not posting this much sooner.
Can you do this one with a green instead of orange palette. I know the orange matches our Golden Dog Farm palette, but would like to see it in green - because Vermont is the Green Mountain State. Thank you!
Can you take a look at this where the Mountain and Toppings are stacked on each other. So the Mountain illustration is the top part of logo. If you need to change the bottom of logo to maintain balance, I would get it. Just would like to see this explored.
Thank you for your feedback! Please check my latest entries, I hope you like them. Also, for the icon idea, we can change it based on the flavor of it. I gave you an example with the apple flavor :)
Lots to like here. Like the drip in the O. Love the Toppings prominence. Love the subtle dog in mountain - only critique is that it doesn't read as a golden retriever. Which may not be possible in an execution like this...

I like the original because it has more balance on it.
