Sorry Dave...been out of town and no link to cyberspace. I like them! I like the addition of purple! Can you combine the scratched with the broken effect on each tile. Also can you take away some of the small broken pieces so that the outside edges are really uneven? And also make the cross slightly more prominent.
#76: I'd like a few more of the edges broken off of all the tiles so that perhaps the overall "Rectangle" begins to disappear. Also I'd like the top two colors to be smaller, so that the cross becomes more proportionate. And maybe slightly more space in between the 4 tiles. I'm really liking where you are going with this!
Dave, Entry #89 is so very close to what I had in my head originally. It looks great with the broken edges gon and the variation in size. In my head, I didn't have the cross having 90 degree angles, but would be more like the top left having a smaller angle and the one on the left having a larger angle and then repeat that on the bottom so that the angle of the vertical bar is slanted but the horizontal bar is straight. Also, I like that the top right corner is small in its remaining pieces...what about having one of the bottom pieces be larger than all the others. I don't want it to be too out of balance, so what I'm asking for, might not work...but just letting you know what I'm thinking.

Thanks. It is a fun contest. So many incredibly talented people on here. I'm REALLY having a hard time I go back and forth with things, especially in the top 4 or 5.
You have only submitted on option (which is obviously a good one), but do you have any other ideas/interpretations of what I might want??
OK...now you're starting to read my mind... (And the posts on the competion page as well...LOL). I was wanting the purple brighter and the green as well...then BAM there's a greyscale...AND the lighter colors!
Dave...your funny! I just read your response to the pretty art in #1. LOL! I've been polling some "focus" groups and getting ppls reactions to the to 12 images. Although I LOVE what you've created and I really think it captures what I was originally describing, the "pretty art" keeps getting a bigger response. And they both are "Broken Beauty"...so she's tipped the scale in her favor. I did like how you upped the beauty component in yours by the water color design. Once it appeared...ppl started noticing. I'm still chewing on it myself. I guess we'll have to all wait to see what another week produces!

Dave, I really understand what you're saying. And I haven't made a final decision. It isn't just about picking the pretty picture. It is about the mission, target audience, values, and I really want the logo to capture all of those things. Thinking, praying, mulling, and so grateful to have such amazing options.
I would like to see this in a 2 color design on white. With Mosaic in black and the design in one of the colors, prefer orange. I would also like the broken beauty larger.

But let me tell you I could read your post talking about my design yesterday (previously ranked #1) and how yours was better ".. because you wanted really broken pieces and #1 doesn´t fit CH needs and that´s all I´ll say", you said, and I really thought that was not ethic at all. Of course now you edited it deleting the part you were speaking of my entry. I wonder why...
