What We Do
We are a chain of inland and coastal marinas in the Southeastern US serving recreational boaters and fishermen.

Color Preferences
Our brand colors are navy blue (PMS#2955) and yellow(PMS#109). Logo should use or complement these colors. This image will primarily be used on apparel, mainly ballcaps, so a simple to embroider color scheme is a plus
Our Ideas & Additional Information
"morningstar" should appear in bauhaus font. "light tackle marinas" can be anything if used. Again, we are looking for an image to be used on hats and t-shirts
Our current primary brand logo is attached below, as are some other industry images we like!

#'s 1-3 We are off to a good start! A couple of quick comments: I like the way the tail reads, but also like the larger text. any way to have both? Also the billfish image is strong, but is more of an offshore fishing image - suitable for our use, but not so "light tackle" maybe a simlar image with a tarpon style fish? thanks for the entries. they are really strong.

#5 looks great. on #4 thanks for trying the tarpon but i like the billfish better from a look standpoint.

I know these comments you have posted were intended specifically for one designer, but is there a specific fish species you would like to see? a wahoo maybe? or are you happy with some kind of marlin?

YEs, good question...specific fish could be tarpon, redfish, sea trout, tuna...would love to see a few more versions without billfish!

A little more direction....entry#14 is now top ranked...mostly because i think it would best fit the "ballcap"logo use...again, lets see some different fish uses, but i think they need to be somewhat aggressive in look and stance for our audience. #'s21 and 22 are very creative, but a little too stylistic for for our current use. #6&#7 are little too "Finding Nemo" for my taste.

Erwin72 - i like the action!

I appreciate the use of the star in the logo, but not necessary.

I like the allcaps font for "light tackle marinas" # 20!

I also like the format and shape of #11 Apatini Design, especially for the use, but seems a little busy as is.

One last comment....i very much like the feel and the retro look of the designs of many of the t-shirts at desteenation.com. Take a llok and see if you can garner any further inspiration there....

thanks.
