Hi, Here are 2 to start you. I am having problems downloading the 'gorilla' font'. Are you tied into that font for your name. IMO it misses the elegant appeal since it is more raw and bold...that is if I am looking at the right font. Will you consider other fonts? These are more feminine but can add some that are more bold.
Also, so you need a font that looks Gaelic style? After looking at the website attachment. Kind Regards, Teresa
Hello I need the molly's to be in the same font as McGuire's Irish Pub is on web site. The icon needs to be a little irish and beachy. Not so much gaelic.
I was able to get the gorilla font to work...these entries I've added have that font. But I don't think the font McGuires is that font....it may very well be a hand made font.
It is going to be really important to distinguish whether you are associated with McGuires or if you are a competitor. Also it may be important to add 'restaurant' under your name because at first glance it looks like you are a jewelry company with your name being 'seaside jewels' and you have the stylistic slider towards 'feminine'.
So that you receive many appropriate designs please emphasize this on your contest brief. What type of restaurant...seafood? etc? If you are a pub you may not want a feminine but a more masculine look.
Additionally if you are a competitor of McGuire you need a look that is distinguished from them and may want to consider a completely different font. It happens often when a logo is designed and later the logo needs to be changed because customers are confused who is who.
I will work on additional entries for you when I know the exact direction needed for you.
Oh my! I went back and looked and realize you have restaurant and jewelry.
Are you selling jewelry on the website for the restaurant McGuire's? there is some confusion. If you are... you definitely need a font that is set apart from theirs or it will be lost in the website since it is so busy.
Yes, it will be important to know if you are running ads on the website...your logo will need to be as colorful. and even if you are near the restaurant it will also need to be seen and stand out.
I own mcGuire's Irish Pub too. It is a steakhouse with a best of award of excellence wine cellar from wine spectator. There are many different parts to the empire, A brewery, bagpipe band, gift shops, etc. This is going to be a store right next to the Destin restaurant and gift shop. It will sell high price jewelry and irish emeralds. It has to have molly in the same font so that the tourists know it is a part of the brand. Im not getting an irish feel with the seahorse design. So the Mollys can be bold and Seaside Jewelry feminine.
I added some with Gaelic symbols and a mermaid on the last ones for you. I will be away all day tomorrow teaching art and will check back with you in the evening when I return.
in #21 could we put a shamrock for the ' in molly's and maybe have the mermaid holding a starfish in her hand. or a shamrock in her hand and a starfish in the O of molly's i also dont like the font of seaside jewels Thank you for your ideas
#36 The font looks a lot like the mermaid but a little hard to read. Is there another font that will match her and be readable? - Can you stretch out her hand with the starfish so it is above the M in Molly - I like the shamrock in the O but maybe it should be white- it gets lost - could I see it colored up. with Molly's in metalic gold and the mermaid in colors.
#47 I would like to see the seaside jewels in a darker green and the shadow and shamrock in a dark green too. please make the starfish bigger too. thanks
The changes in each may be subtle...I tweaked the sizes on the mermaid, star as well as a little different shape on the star on one of these. The dark green is also the lines on the mermaid. I can go darker on the green but a little more only because too much the very dark greens sometimes are not very distinguishable from black...although very rich if green is apparent.
#67 I enlarged the mermaid and star even more...the center is a visual center on the mermaid over your name with the starfish centered over the M on your name.
oh, the font is free use. I bolded the font and added the curve on the S baseline as you could see on the previous entry It is called Lemon Chicken :-) and found on fontsquirrel.com
Here is the revision and the one you currently have in 1st side by side so it is easier to look at them together. I cleaned up some additional lines you will see...if you need me to go back to the original I will do that. I am always readjusting and will forever if giving the opportunity :-)

I need to leave shortly for the rest of the day and will check back with you this evening.
Just checking in with you. I will be away this afternoon teaching art and will check back this evening.
If you didn't know.. any variations of the logo that you want are also yours and I will send them to you via email after the contest ends and these entry files are approved in your LT account.
I will be available for a couple more hours and will check in with you before I leave.
#88 I would just like the water line to extend a little more over the O to the corner of the M and flip up like the other side. Could I also see the shamrock in the O outlined in dark green and just white in the middle. Thanks
I had to make some minor alterations on the illustration with the up curve on the left of the water as well as the shamrock since the it needed to be opened up more with an outline.
Just wanted to let you know that I will be here this evening working and checking off and on if you need anything...but tomorrow I will be away all day teaching art again and will check with you in the evening when I return.
I am working on the files to upload into your account for your approval within the hour. We will be able to communicate via email now. My email is beefreenaturals@yahoo.com and is listed on the LT contract.
