I already like this a lot. Could you try a color combination that is a bit more fresh and "web 2.0" like?

Colors can be modified easily. This design also works perfectly in one solid color for use when multi color printing is not available.

Could you perhaps do Entry #1 in a Flickr like color scheme?

The name GrandCentrix came to our mind because of its association to "railway station". The software which we've invented and run acts like a central station inside mobile networks. The services that run on GrandCentrix are like the trains. The users which use these services, are like the passengers.

It's merely an association, we don't necessarily want to see real trains or rails or an underground map in the logo but we thought it might help you think different about what our logo could be.
