What We Do
Mobile 10-8 provides a mobile app (iOS & Android) service to Sheriff Departments. We build and deploy individual apps per Sheriff's Office, so each app serves the local county Sheriff's community. An individual apps would be titled as the individual Sheriff's Office, i.e. Washington County Sheriff's Office, but published by Mobile 10-8.
Reference: 10-8 is what is referred to as a Ten Code in law enforcement. 10-8 means, 'Officer in Service'. So our company is, Mobile 10-8 with a slogan of "In Service For You". Something only law enforcement agencies will get, but that's the point.
Features: Each Sheriff's Office app will provide a range of features including access to intakes and releases of the Jail, list of all Sex Offenders, Warrants, Child Support Warrants, and Most Wanted. There is also a directory of Attorneys and Bail Bondsman, General Sheriff Information including locations, phone directory, 911 Call Log and much more. The app also provides the Sheriff to ability to post news and send push notifications in the event of a missing child or important community issue.
Our service is to provide readily available access to important community public safety information and a method to stay engaged with local law enforcement activity, announcements and alerts.
Color Preferences
We are open to any color schemes or ideas, typical law enforcement colors are red and blue. But be careful as this has been overdone. Also, DO NOT use a Police Siren, Hand Cuffs, etc. as a logo items.
Color Ideas:
- Blacks and Greys
- Royal Blue: (Google Police Blue Line Color) A black square/triangle with a little than darker royal blue horizontal line is used as a universal police icon.
- Darker or Deep Red: But not Blue and Red together, one or the other. Possibly used in the 10-8 to help separate or form a icon of sorts.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I would like to have a Word-mark with the 'Mobile 10-8' being the mark. Maybe color the 'Mobile' and '10-8' different to help separate them but make sure the entire 'Mobile 10-8' still reads.
The Slogan "In Service for You" needs to also be present below the main 'Mobile 10-8' area and in a small font. I would like to see concept with and without the Slogan.
