OOOH! We had a crazy thought. What if we put an EKG line in the state of MO? Same kind of line you had on the other logo divider line. #34

Could we please see with no icon in the state of Missouri?
We're still feeling like this is a good composition but would like to see a simpler version.

I was trying to convey "Hope" with a spark and microscope to present Research
I try some ideas, let me know what you think

First, thank you for entering in our tournament! After looking at this design a bit longer we really like how you worked in the state outline and are liking the triangle shape wrapping the state. We're not sure about the microscope and the sun. It seems like a lot for such a little icon. Perhaps we just put do a relief of one graphic on the state? I'm not sure the microscope or the sun are exactly right, but we do need something that either embodies research or conveys motion.
The motion might be something more abstract and less concrete. Looking forward to seeing your revisions, and thanks again.
