Hello Nancy, very intrigued with your logo. I love the incorporation of the church pennant in the sail. Anyway modernize the "boat" a little without loosing the sail concept. Also, can this logo be done with a white background? And, lastly, how would this look in a letterhead format? Thanks you. You are one of my favorite at this time...

Hello again, What if we dropped "charting the right course..." since it might be abit too much when I use it on letterhead and business cards. Also, with a white background, would you use black or blue letter for "Ministry Pacific." Sorry for the typo in my first response. The sentence should start out with "Anyway to modernize the "boat"...etc.

Hello again, can you give me more definition on your J-Class yacht...see the following website for the type of feel I am trying to obtain...http://www.jclassyachts.com/. Good luck.

Hello Nancy,

There are a few hours left on the clock to compete for our logo. I am hoping you are coming through with a modified (see comments above) late entry. Your logo was the first to incorporate the pennant (british) into the sail...and frankly was the first logo to capture the essence of what I was looking for!!! Godspeed.

Hi - I will work on your revisions today - thank you for your patience!

I have respectfully ask other designers to remove entries using the pennant as the sail. LogoTournament as rules about such matters. You can see at the bottom of the contest page that designers own their concepts over the duration of the contest. All designers are free to explore other combinations of the sail and the pennant, since you have mentioned these elements in your brief, but the pennant AS the sail is my own, protectable concept for your contest.

Many of the designers that submitted designs like mine are new to LT and might not know the rules. There is also another rule on the submission page that compels designers to make sure that their entries are significantly different than existing ones.

The reason for these rules are for both you and the designers. LT wanst to be sure that you get a variety of designs to consider for your logo, not lots of entries based on the same concept. Also it's a protection for the participants, allowing them the ability to own and make the most of their ideas and potential in each contest.

I hope you understand.

There are a few other things that might help you to know. You will have a judging period of 7 days after the contest ends. During that time you can rank and rerank designs. Designers ranked in first can submit revisions of their logos.

Additionally, you can extend your contest by request to LT.

Hope all that helps I will have revisions and more answers to you shortly. Need coffee! ;)

Blessing and goodness.

My new design is meant to really illustrate the idea of direction and charting by combining symbols of navigational guidance (compass) and control (steering wheel)

Hello Nancy,

Great late entry....can you drop the pennant on the "M" in Ministry Pacific (entry 93) and provide me with a "frontal" view of the anchor on entry 99. If you like to try a compass logo that would be interesting. Godspeed.

Hello Nancy, I agree with your assessment of the use of the pennant in the sail. Since you were the originator (which I thought was very clever) I will remove any other designers who are using that concept. In short, I will honor your request even if they don't...if you look at my top 10 list, I should be in compliance. At this point, I have your entry #106 ranked third and your other (number 107) ranked 6th. This is not to say that we would not select you. I plan on having my employees look at all top 10 entries and vote, with my vote being the most important!!! You are obviously very gifted and original...your entries #106 and #107 are very clean and reconizable. Regarding the use of the pennant in the sail, I will take another look at what you submitted to me and see if I give some recommendations. It was and is very original and adds a "wow" factor. Godspeed.

Thanks for all of that! Really, I appreciate your integrity and careful consideration of my stance and work.

I will happily revise the pennant sail. :) If you have some general comments re the sail, I find those helpful too and often really makes way to bring a design into focus.

Blessings atop!
