This has a great feel to it! I love it! One thing though - our mini donuts only come with a cinnamon sugar dusting on them - we don't have icing on our donuts, so we'd want to see the donut "wearing" something other than icing...can you come up with something else instead? Thanks very much,
Katharine

Hello
and thank you for the feedback and ranking.
Here is another donut "wearing" cinnamon sugar dusting :)
Please let me know if this is what you had in mind.
I would appreciate any kind of feedback.
Best regards,
Bob.

Thanks - this is much closer to what our product looks like...and we really like it. This will look great printed on a sidewalk sign. But one thing we are wondering about is when we go to get signs made locally for our tent (which is 10X10) we need a banner that is 8 - 10 feet long and 1.5 feet high...so we are wondering how this branding might be modified to fit a rectangular shape. (We are thinking Mini Morsels...then the mascot..then Mini Morceaux...with the font larger and more to scale with the mascot.) Is this something we have done here in this forum, or something that can be modified locally by the sign company? Thanks so much...

Hello Katherine.
If you like circular (emblem) shape, but would like to have rectangular (or prolonged) one- later on (after the contest is finished) one of the option (and the safest one regarding the quality) is to contact the designer that you choose to be the winner to do that option as well.
I will show you how it would look like with my design, in a few hours time (its quite late here, so I have to get some rest).
Thank you.
Best regards,
Bob.

Hello Katharine
(sorry for misspelled "e" in your name in my previous post).
Here is another option with letters and colors in #38 .
#39 is just option on how logo could look if it was placed in a line (rectangular shape). Of course, there could be different placements both for the font or mascot, per your request.
Please let me know what you think about these new entries, or if you have any specific idea about the logo.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Bob.

Love the way you've incorporated it into a rectangle. And I think they new colours pop more. I am wondering if we can see the font from the first design (now ranked two) in the designs that are now ranked one and three?
Thanks...it's getting there!

Also...I like the rectangle design of the one you have in the two colours with the plain donuts in the text and the one mascot at the end...but I don't like having the two colours...I think it chops it up too much...if you can change to one colour this would be preferred over the one ranked three right now...
Thanks,
Katharine

Thanks Bob - definitely like the one colour for the rectangle design as you've done.... can we see it in the other font too please?
Thanks,

Thanks...I've been showing them to some friends, and some people keep saying the mascot looks too much like a bagel? (Not sure how we would make it look more like a donut than a bagel when they look so similar??) But thought I'd send along the feedback in case you have any bright ideas? With the signage in context, I'm not so worried about that, but wanted to pass it along...

Which font do you think looks better by the way? As a designer I would value your opinion in it! Thanks,
Katharine

Katharine,
I tried to play with shading and removed some amount of powder, so now (hopefully) it looks more like donut (though you are right about similarities, especially when trying to make mascot-that is why icing was something I started with, to make it more distinctive from bagel).
Regarding the font I like it more when it is capital and bolder for the two reasons. First one is that it looks stronger and second one that is is more readable and clear from the distance.
Waiting for your further feedback.
Thank you.

Bob.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for humouring us. We still like the one we've ranked first, with the sugar...in context we think there will be no doubt it's a mini donut...and if someone doesn't understand it's a donut sign on the sidewalk in front of a man making donuts, well, so be it! And, yes I agree with you about the font - we prefer the capital font for the same reasons as you. So, it's looking like this is the one for our business, so let me know how we would proceed to get the rectangular one from you too...
Thanks,
Katharine

Katharine,
I'm glad you like it :) and you are totally right about context part.
Regarding the rectangular concept- once the contest is over, winning designer will send his personal mail to you, so you can contact him outside of Logo Tournament and agree upon everything (different color options, formats, shapes,....).
By Logo Tournament rules it is not allowed to contact Contest Holder directly (through personal mail) or to make any kind of agreements while the contest is still in progress, as it is considered influencing the final decision, this is why I can not tell you anything more specific.
Thank you for understanding.
Best regards,
Bob.
