What We Do
This is an annual event of The Fuller Center for Housing in which dozens of volunteers build several homes in one week to celebrate the life of Millard Fuller, who founded The Fuller Center in 2005 and died in 2009.
Color Preferences
This logo will often be used on white or light t-shirts, so it can't make use of very light colors. Black, Blue and deep greens or deep browns would be good. Also, one that would easily convert to Black and White or grayscale.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
As you can see in the attachments, Millard Fuller is a point of emphasis as his legacy is the very reason for this weeklong annual home build. However, his face is just too dominant in our previous Millard Fuller Legacy Build logos. We are willing to continue using his likeness in some way that is less dominant, such as a sketch/outline of his features.
We also are willing to consider logos that use the words "Millard Fuller Legacy Build" without using his likeness. Millard preached what he called the "Theology of the Hammer" so imagery involving a hammer would make good sense. Or imagery of a home. Or people/hands raising a wall at a home build.
The words "Millard Fuller Legacy Build" MUST be in the logo.
