Comment Activity SNgraphics commented on #99 Withdrawn how nice of him, I appreciate :) 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #99 Withdrawn Director Bob likes this best 9 years ago SNgraphics commented on #69 Withdrawn As I just found out - "A good rule is, if it has black on its head, it's a Showa, if not, it's Taisho Sanke. So, I guess, my koi is a stylised Sanke :) 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #99 Withdrawn I like the idea of the city inside. I think it may be stronger without the dropshadow on the text. I don't see that on many trademarks. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #69 Withdrawn You have to decide if this is a Sanke or a showa, depending on the placement of the black. This might be a good guide: http://www.koi-bito.com/forum/main-forum/13797-how-tell-difference-between-showa-sanke.html 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #69 Withdrawn This is still a contender, but we need to reposition the dot in "i" do it doesn't look like a blemish in the tail. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #94 Withdrawn This is a pretty typeface. Have you tried this in title case? I think I like 96/99 better with Midwest and Pond above. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #96 Withdrawn I like that you are doing with equal weighting on the words in the logo. Please rotate the text clockwise approx 17° so that the M in midwest and d in pond are horizontally alligned. Have you tried this in title case with a little tracking? 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #69 Withdrawn The dot in the lower case "i" is being interpreted as a blemish in the koi's fin. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #82 Withdrawn "Midwest" is not more important than the other words. Can you try balancing differently? For example, "Midwest Pond" above and "and Koi Society" below? 9 years ago SNgraphics commented on #78 Withdrawn Well, I appreciate his taste :) 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #78 Withdrawn Board member Charlene likes this. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #69 Withdrawn much improved koi body shape 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #70 Withdrawn much improved koi body shape 9 years ago SNgraphics commented on #70 Withdrawn Thank you for the feedback. Please see revised entries. I will work more. Thanks. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #60 Withdrawn I think the board members are looking for a more realistic representation of a koi. A good koi is powerfully built. The Mid-Atlantic Koi club (http://www.makc.com/) has been successful and you can itentify their specific variety, for example a kohaku an a shiru utsuri. 9 years ago SNgraphics commented on #60 Withdrawn Hi, thank you for the rank! If you would like to see some variations of my designs please let me know. Revisions welcomed. Thanks. 9 years ago
