Comment Activity EnzoBluebird commented on #110 Probably best to select #110 (without ripples) - you have the opportunity to make further alterations to the final files before you approve the final design. I looked at the image you posted with orange/pink flowers and different stages of bloom. It's after 1 a.m. here now so I will look at it later today. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #110 Will you be able to submit these modifications before the close of the tournament, or shall I select 110 as the final? I agree with you on the horizontal lock up. Logo as-is with text to the right. I think there are options for color on the lillies--here's one. (I'll remove from the web as soon as you view it.) http://scotthdavis.com/pond/images/110_alt.jpg 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #110 For the horizontal version were you thinking of having the logo as it is with larger text beside it? I'll see what else I can do about the water lily flower shapes. One other option could be to give them a pink tinge but then it might not look too good with the other colours. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #110 This is winning version. The mouth is better. Board members prefer without the ripples. When the image is tiny, the flower appears to be a fried egg. Have you considered one fully bloomed, one partially opened? Versions needed: large, full-color, large 2-color (B&W), small full-color, horizontal lock up for use on new website: http://mpks.org/wp/, or the fonts used so I can make it. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #112 Withdrawn thank you 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #112 Withdrawn Black and white version of #111. 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #110 There is no white outline on POND & etc. What different versions will you need? If different versions require any redrawing then I think it is usual for an additional cost to be agreed. 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #111 Withdrawn I uploaded this alternative design with different typefaces before I saw your latest comments on #110. This would be better if you are going to use the logo at small sizes. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #110 How does this work with Logotournament for the different versions we will need? 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #110 is there a white outline on "POND & KOI SOCIETY"? It may need to be beefed up for small version of the logo. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #110 Can you illustrate what this will look like in Black and White version? 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #110 Revision with the right hand fish altered and more detailed water lily flowers. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #107 Withdrawn On left fist, de-emphasize the mouth--from this angle (above) it is almost underneath: http://www.koiphen.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=395713 On the right fish, the shadow is reading more as a grey fish. See this fish for the coloring coming down further onto the nose. http://s264.photobucket.com/user/Hirogoi/media/RoseburgKoiShow085-1.jpg.html Have you tried color in the lillies, or is that too much? http://scotthdavis.com/pond/pond2006/pages/DSCN2271.htm http://scotthdavis.com/pond/pond2006/pages/DSCN2318.htm 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #109 Withdrawn Same as #106 but with shadows and ripples. 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #108 Withdrawn Same as #106 but with shadows on the koi added. 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #107 Withdrawn Same as #106 but with ripples added. 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #106 Withdrawn In all these new designs I have made MIDWEST slightly smaller and spaced the letters out. This design has no shadows on the koi and no ripples. 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #89 Withdrawn This is receiving a lot of positive discussion from the board members. Can you remove/modify the glints on the surface of the water? Make sure the "Midwest" is centered and perhaps add some tracking? 9 years ago EnzoBluebird commented on #89 Withdrawn I forgot to put in the shadows of the lily pads in this design. See my other entries for what I mean. (Only the first ranked designer can now submit new designs in the selection stage.) 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #89 Withdrawn Director Pat likes this 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #89 Withdrawn Director Charlene likes this 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #89 Withdrawn Director John likes this 9 years ago scott_davis commented on #36 Withdrawn This is the only logo in the top 8 reversed out of a background. Please describe how you envision this working with our revised website (under construction): http://mpks.org/wp/ 9 years ago
