hey, you get rankings 1 and 2 for the moment! :)

thanks for being my first two entries. this are a bit too simplistic. i do want simple and clean; but i need something that stands out more. while i think the font on 'campference' is a creative idea, we're not going for a rustic look (even though it does contain the word 'camp'). and the font for 'middle school ministry' is too plain for my taste.

the designs on your portfolio page that are a little more in line with what i'm looking for in terms of "feel" are:
- jewish family service
- custom business solutions

but i'm also thinking a 3-d effect could make it pop, and not look too traditional.

on #3 - #6: sorry to dump all of these, but they're too juvenile feeling.

again (as it says in the brief), i'm looking for clean and professional, but with some pop to it. my audience are VERY sensitive to being treated as if their work is with young children (as opposed to young teens).

(about entry #11 and #12)

i can see why you'd try this route -- it makes sense in some ways. but, again: i'm looking for clean and professional, but with some pop to it. my audience are VERY sensitive to being treated as if their work is with young children (as opposed to young teens).

these still feel juvenile. and they don't have the clean & professional & modern look i'm going for. think modern with punch.

reaching out to youth (not children)

entry #14

sorry, dotwoman. the event is not for youth. it's for adults (who happen to work with youth). this still (in my admitadly subjective view) feels juvenile. forget that the event even has anything to do with youth at all, if needed. i'm looking for a clean and professional, modern text treatment (i'm not opposed to something in addition to the text, but that's not my focus). imagine that the target "user" of this brand is 28 years old.

#40 and #42 are your strongest yet. Real possibilities. I can't rank them tonIght (my iPad won't let mr), but I'll do so first thing in the morning.
