very creative idea -- thanks for that. these would work great if this were an event about camping. but it's not -- it's a conference that just happens to be held at a camp (hence, the name). my concern with your very creative idea is that it gives the impression that the event is about camping.

i'm looking for something much more modern and clean, possibly with a 3-d effect to make it pop.

hey, that font change really does make a big difference. this is a strong logo, and i like it. i'm still hesitant, though, that the boot print will imply that this is an event about camp. i'll have to think about this a bit, get some input from my partners, and see what else comes in.

just a thought: instead of a boot print, which has that clear camp vibe, what if it was the shoe print of a sneaker (like converse all-stars or vans), which would have more of a general "young teen" vibe?
