What We Do
The Michigan Healthcare Cybersecurity Council was founded in June 2013 in support of the Michigan Cyber Initiative. The mission of the MiHCC is to protect the critical healthcare infrastructure in the State of Michigan from cybersecurity threats and to mature and advance the state of cybersecurity preparedness across the healthcare industry in Michigan.
The MiHCC is an independent, public-private partnership in the State of Michigan involving hospitals and healthcare systems, payer organizations, physician organizations and supporting members such as the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, The Michigan Department of Community Health, the Michigan Health and Hospital Association and the Michigan Health Information Network.

Color Preferences
We are not afraid of tasteful but purposeful colors. Blues, white negative space, and greys are usually associated with healthcare which is fine, but somewhat typical. I would recommend avoiding extreme bold colors. We have to work within typically conservative companies but would like to see something a few steps beyond typical.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I have attached the current MiHCC logo that was ginned up and used for the past couple years. What has changed is that we are incorporating as a non-profit org now and trying to breathe new life into the organization and have more outreach to new membership as well as raise our professional profile.
