Hi Satto- I like the concept and I like the font. Can you run with it a little more? The fruit reminds me of an orange (even though I'm thinking it's an apple, right?) We don't grow oranges in Michigan. Is there a more generic farm icon you can come up with? Thanks. Mary Kay

Thanks for your feedback Mary Kay.
It isn't an apple, it isn't a prune or an orange... it is a "generic" fruit or vegetable... almost round with leaves...
(Orange: You know, I'm not American but do know that Michigan isn't Florida... ;)
Still, I'll be working on it to be more efficient...
Thanks,
Satto.

Thanks Satto- Didn't mean to question your geography knowledge! : ) I like a lot of the designs in your portfolio, so I'd like to see other stuff too if you're interested in it!
Thank you, Mary Kay

Dear Mary Kay,
#24 to #26
Trying to have a new generic farm icon... wheat or apple...
#27 and #28
... that goes to the fork! (to be eaten, not wasted)
Green for the farm
Orange for the emergency (not red, it's too frightening!)

ps: Sorry for not speaking english fluently...

Could you please give me the link for the PlainsChurch contest?...
Thanks.

Sorry Satto- I missed your last comment. Here's the link: https://logotournament.com/contests/plains_church
Also, on your current logo, could you try a couple different icons? Barn to wheat? Barn to apple? Can I also see a deeper green and deeper red, or maybe golden/orange?
Thanks,
Mary Kay

Hi Mary Kay,
#92
A fork in an apple in a barn in a logo !...
Is it possible to be more direct and explicit?
Hope you'll like it,
Satto.
ps: Thanks for the link.

We still like #72, but the background in the icons is a little distracting.

Hi Satto-
One variation that the person whose program this logo is for would like to see is adding a "row" feel underneath. She was interested in what that would look like...sort of grounding the logo with the concept of a field. I like the simplicity of it now...not sure if that would start to muck things up. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks so much.

Hi Mary Kay,
You know, i love the simplicity that often means efficiency but that might be a good idea...
I work on it right now!

Not bad...

Hmmm...not bad. Would you be able to show the "row" concept at the bottom the entire logo (under the words) so the entire logo is grounded on that?

of course...

Here you are:
bottom and top + bottom... they are very flexible cousins!

Thanks for your willingness. I like your first row concept (with it on top) better, but I'll get some input from our program director.

Hi Satto-
Thanks for your design. I enjoyed working with you. I wonder if you can recommend a Pantone color for the green and for the orange. When using the logo on printed pieces, I'll have to do that to save on costs. Also, can you tell me the name of the font you used just in case we might want to purchase it for use?
Thanks so much.
