Michigan Farm to Food BankLogo Design Contest

These are very nice. We like #192. The words "Food Bank" need to have equal weight to "Farm" (whether that's done by size, color, etc...)

Any thoughts that the figure could look "dated" in a few years? I realize it's pretty simple and it's a tree trunk too, but myself and a colleague both had the same thought independently. Let me know.

Oh...are you familiar with Food Gatherers food bank? They're a member of our organization.

Very cool Mary. Yes, I'm a student at UofM's business school and one group's presentation a few weeks back was on Food Gatherers.

I won't let the fact that I'm an MSU business grad bias me! : )

Also, my logo is only 2 colors.

Sorry, you're right. I meant 3 (you had asked to stick to 3 colors). I could do it as 2 colors if I used a warm red for the apple and a shade of it as the person/trunk if you needed a 2 color option.

Regarding the figure, I don't think it will look dated. Similar figures have been used in logos for a while. The nice thing about them is that they're recognizable as a figure without any detail and without looking like a stick figure.

Also, I did #209 in 2 colors with a green apple, but it could also be done with a red one.
