A statewide network formed in 2015 to build and mobilize a powerful grassroots movement in Michigan that brings urgency and advances policies that will put us on a path to climate stability and climate justice.

We have not determined a color scheme, it is open for the designers to choose.

Our full name is the Michigan Climate Action Network and we would like to use our full name rather than an abbreviation. We would like our name presented distinctly and consistently in a manner that becomes easily recognizable to all - stakeholders, donors, vendors, collaborators, web site visitors, etc. It is NOT necessary to have a special mark (sometimes thought of as the logo) accompany the name, but an exceptional mark/ image could be helpful. In any case, the logo should consist of the name in the font, color and arrangement that is most effective.

Should reflect an orientation to being an organization of the Great Lakes State (Michigan). Should fit well on signs and banners for marches and other public events. Must not make the overall name plus mark too large or cumbersome to use effectively on business cards, mobile locations, and other small spaces (for example it may be best to stack the first two words on top of the last two words).
