Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Would love to see more designs, we currently have 3 main ones ranked. -Melisari, is there a possibility to see a deer that looks "noble" as the one you are portraying BUT with a bit more agressive or bigger antlers? Maybe a rack that's a ten pointer with a kicker and a bit more open rack. Try looking for pics on the web using "ten point deer" as key words so you can get an idea.
Baco, additionally, the elk (deer) in the background might not be the best option for our logo. Would you consider a more subtle atlernative, (I.E a picture of backroads, an afternoon setting in a field, a river, etc) Try using more elegant colors, such as dark wood, or camouflage..
Melisari -- Your design is looking better, the colors are also interesting. Would it be possible to consider other shapes that are not necessarily a circle. Also, we might not need a half-bodied deer. You could also consider a picture that only shows the body from the neck up, this way, the animal may appear a lot closer. Finally, try adding some dark wood or camouflage to your logo designs..
Makou, hi there, for #20 could you please use a grayish color for the logo to see what it looks like? The design is really good by the way, we liked how you combined different species such as waterfowl and an elk in the same image as in this case.
Jdub --- Thank you for trying something different, aside from the animal-focused designs. Could you try a similar logo, but with a picture of a river or some actual backroads with pine trees. Try to keep darker colors on the logo so that we can keep it elegant. Finally, don't narrow down on the circle model, if you don't bound the logo, it may show a little better...
Melisari -- Great new design ! The deer used begins to resemble what me are looking for. Elegance and adventure. For other designers out there, we still have three more days in the contest. Try submitting logos that are outside of the animal theme. We are not only providing animal-focused experiences.
All of you are doing great! Thanks alot for your effort, we are definitely getting to what we dreamed our logo to be like. Keep up the great designs...
To all designers, we would love to have logos that don't necessarily include animal figures. Anything outdoors that will inspire tranquility and a respect for nature will work..
Designers, we decided to extend the contest 5 more days because although we are extremely happy with the current designs, we would like to expand upon some of the alternatives.
Alternative a) More designs that shy away from the animal concept. We are interested in designs focused on anything outdoors, such as a lake, a river etc. Remember that our company will not only be offering hunts, instead we plan to offer fishing expeditions and even bird watching trips. This of course implies that our logo should not be constrained to one particular species, but instead should focus on a more broad outdoors-oriented theme.
Alternative b) In keeping with the white-tail deer theme, we would like to include other species in the logo. For example, we imagine a flock of quail, dove, or ducks in the background of a majestic white-tail deer. Because our company is focused on offering an innovative business model that is not centered around one particular species, we would love our logo to be descriptive of that general idea. Even though we are looking for more animals in the logo, it is critical too keep it clean and simple, KEY element here is: to avoid a logo that is too complex and “busy” We are looking for something that will be easy to print on shirts, hats, flyers, etc… Maybe if we have a "compass" in the logo the whole perspective changes and the focus is taken away from the animal and now involves a whole different perception
Alternative c) Most logos in the outfitter industry are focused on a particular animal species. Any creativity that would help to differntiate/ distinguish our logo from the rest of the competitors out there, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for all of your effort so far!!!
