#10 like the radar-like disc. Can be radar or RSS, nice. Might work even better using just the disc, without the eyecorners. Font needs adjustment. To common, bit too bold. Maybe you can use a less common, more elegant slightly less bold (demi-bold or regular font). Than add the radar beam ...
#3 Like what you tried to do with the M and the V! But I most say it reminds me a bit of the Batman logo. Actually I think that could work but then, we'd have to go all the way. Meaning really cartoon/marvel-comicslike look & feel. And of course different typography. I know you submitted before my remark about sans-serif. But we're pretty sure that (or script) works better. And we might be convinced otherwise, but not with Times New Roman or equivalent. So if you're willing and inspired to make a really bold superhero logo, be our guest. Might help us stand out from the crowd. And to our clients we are some sort of heroes :) Thanx so far.
#5 I really really like your portfolio. So I'm hoping to see much more of that back in this contest. Is that possible. You were one of the first to submit. So maybe with all the feedback and updates you can design a strong logo, with original typography and some emblem, icon or symbol.
ALL To us the logical place for the symbol, icon, emblem will be left or right next to the word (metrovision). Above it probably will make the logo higher / too high for use in interfaces etc. And I'd really like to see more extraordinary fonts than gill, arial, verdana etc. Maybe spent more time on great font and some adjustments to it, and less on the symbol.

Thanx for the quick respons. #12 confirms it, disc/beam works better, use just the disc. You added something to the inside of the disc, two arrowheads,in #14 it's even bigger. You can leave those out. OK?
Could you maybe spent more time / thought on typography. You're not there yet. We want really great typography. Like Compaq used to have or Accenture. You know? Maybe sleep one night about it :)

I like that your trying different directions but dsimissed some. Try to explain why. Some reminded too much of Amazon. Some were not serious enough for the business I'm in. And I think the font is too bold.
I updated the brief with examples of logos with the right fontface. And will be adding a document with examples.
My advice to you would be. Take a good nights rest (you've earned it). Look for a great font in itself. After ensuring it's the right one, then tweek it so it's more unique. OK?

Thank you, thank you! You managed to come up with another great idea. I like the new shapes in #38 and #37.
Maybe a bit sharp but I like it very much. Don't get me wrong I also like the radar disc. But I am pleased with this new direction.
Of course it's an M and a V, but #37 is also a visualisation of the process of webdevelopment :) I don't know if you could do something to make it less sharp, but still as powerful. Maybe if you image it more as a piece of film it becomes less sharp, more friendly.
Maybe you could do something with (overlapping) colors to make the M and V different?
When you don't use the radar discs you could make the waves between each letter | in stead of ( or ). Or leave them out completely.
The font is getting better, but I feel there still is room for improvement. But I will give more input on that. But for now the letter "e" has a bit of a problem. It's too narrow.
#32 The concept with the radardisc is still appealing. The waves ))) between the letters might work better if used only in one direction, away from the source/disc. Or maybe the whole logo is the disc or part of it and use just a slice or detail.
And maybe you would like to try different (background)colors. A dark background might work really nice with light colors of the disc. You could make it look like part of a large radar screen and the word metrovision lights up on it :) I like the sound of that.

I think you have all the elements! Now we have to find a way to piece them together.
Fonts: I like the fonts you used in #49 and #48. I think I like it better if you close the gaps in the M, N and maybe even the E in that font. #48 all you'd have to do is change the I into well "I" so cut off the broad horizontal lines at the top and bottom of the I. And then don't break the word metrovision in two. All the letters in one line/row ...
Disc The disc is also really great. I especiially like the one you used in #50 and #53. Now the difficult part.
To get what I am looking for you'd have to: 1) enlarge the whole disc, 2) make only the right half 90-100% visible (the right half almost 90-100% darkend because the beam only lights up part (25%) of the radarscreen. 3) then place the letters m e t r o v i s i o n on that screen as objects on a radarscreen. In font #48 with suggested alterations on the letter "I"
Would you do that? I think we're almost there.
