What We Do

MENTAL HEALTH IN SPORT SUMMARY
Our purpose is to work with the industry to advance the mental health agenda in sport. The link between mental wellbeing and physical health is inseparable, and cannot be underestimated in sport. For too long, mental health has been viewed as secondary.

MHiPF aims to be the catalyst for better mental health within sport, bringing the whole industry together in one place. We will unite and work with players (past and present); coaches; club management; player management agencies; mental health specialists; policy makers; charities; and trade bodies, to effect significant change.

We will build an environment in which the ecosystem can learn and connect with each other through content and community, to create a sustainable mental health culture and a framework for intervention and support - from first signing to post-career.

ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE: We provide critical content and information for professional club staff, players, sporting bodies, associated mental health practitioners and charities to build a framework for mental health support.

INSPIRING: We connect the industry with the people and ideas that make them believe in better and give them the energy to make lasting change.

CELEBRATING: We recognise and reward the absolute best in our industry and champion their success.

BENCHMARKING: We provide an impartial interpretation of the sectors performance by identifying best practice and providing others with the insight to raise their game.

LEARNING: We provide the education required to set athletes, teams, and sports up for long-term success and support.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

A few ideas spring to mind:
1. Use either the 'MH' or the 'MHi' as the key for the logo and you can then use the ball of the sport around each i.e. 'MH' or 'MHi' in a football, rugby or tennis ball
2. I want this to be able to be made into a badge, so it can't be too complicated.
3. Please look at one of the many other tournaments we are running:
https://logotournament.com/contests/psych-near-me which we want to be a sister logo for this.

The ball cannot be within the 'MH' as the ball will change with each sport. That's why I have suggested wrapping all the different balls around the 'MH'

Please do not feel you have to go down the 'MH' route on this. Also look at another of our tournaments that are linked to this, Psyche Near Me. I'd love you to get ideas from our comments and brief for that tournament too, as they are both linked.

I think we need to get the design right for the 'MH' or 'MHi' and the colours and that becomes our main brand for 'Mental Health in Sport' whilst then bringing in each ball to surround the MH brand is essential to make sure we can use the logo across all sports.

AS ever, please use your creative experience to look at alternatives to this, as I'm not saying this is the only way to make this work.

The fonts I have seen that I like are FF Avance, Grenale Slab which I found in this article https://99designs.co.uk/blog/logo-branding/logo-fonts

I do think it does need a friendly font though. Something that makes the viewer feel at ease about mental health.

I'm really sorry! Due to a glitch related to Daylight Savings Time, this contest's timeline shifted forward temporarily from Blind to the Finalists phase. We have corrected the issue, and returned the contest to the Blind phase. With entries being revealed temporarily, we are considering this a modified Blind phase. If this causes any issues for you, please contact Support and I’ll do my best to resolve things for you right away.

Thanks for all the great submissions to date. Feedback from the team is that they want to simplify the designs and we would like to see a more simplified 'MH' or 'MHi' logo. Any submissions will be given instant feedback throughout the rest of the tournament in the next 10 hours.

Could you get MH into a speech bubble and use bright and bold colours and background?
