Hi

The concept of having an M for Melbourne in the shape of the pool carries the subconscious message that your company is top quality. Think of Richie Rich and his dollar sign pool, people won't necessarily connect that as a conscious thought, but that underlying meaning is universal.

I've gone with the very crisp clean blues that are normally associated with pools and spas and have added a luxurious grass green. This adds to the high-end feel of the logo and speaks of the lifestyle the pool affords. At the same time the lettering is solid and purposeful, it says that you're craftsmanship can be trusted.

Cheers,
Robin.

Thanks iRobin you have clearly put some thought into the design and the M shaped pool is an imaginative idea. Initially when I looked at it I wasn't sure but the more I look at it the more apealing it becomes. I do like your train of thought and you have obviosly understood what I am after in regards to the message I want to convey in the logo.

I would love to see some other ideas and although I would like to give more specific feed back I also don't want to stifle your creativity because I am looking for something a little different from the usual pool company logos out in the market.

Thanks again

Hi Robin
Thanks for your efforts so far. This is feedback going out to the top 10 designers. The message is exactly the same for all other than your name.
In one of my feedbacks I passed on details of a few construction companies that I believe show strength in their logo. I am a construction company for the domestic market so I think my logo needs a little flair but not over the top. By all means do your own browsing if you have time.
Obviously these logos cannot be copied and besides I want my own unique logo anyway so please understand they are for inspirational purposes only.
To keep things far I am providing this information to the top ten designers. If it is of help, then great, if not, at least you are all on a level playing field.
Personally I appreciate the effort you are putting into the design and it does seem a little unfair that only one can be a winner because you are all deserving.
When it is time for final judging I will be sending the top five designs to friends and colleagues in the industry and ask them to rank the designs from 1 to 5. Whichever design receives the highest score overall will more than likely win. This means that my number 1 ranked design will not necessarily win, it will be based on a democratic vote so everybody in the top 5 still has a fair chance to win. If you have any other great ideas or variations to the original then I would love to see them.
Again thank you so much for your efforts and please see below the websites you might want to take a look at.

Great! Thanks for the added brief. #71 and #72 are a couple of very quick ideas. Simple yet unique shapes always make for good logos... I'll put some more thought into it overnight.

Cheers,
Robin.
