Hello EnzoBluebird,
I have just ranked entry #86 in the top five. It has kind of grown on me and I think it has some potential. Unless a brilliant design comes in in the next hour, you should make the short list and then have a couple of extra days to tweak it a little. You may even consider extending and running those tiles under the company name which will make it look like the pools waterline tiles. A couple designs with different tile band widths under the company name may be interesting too.
The font and boldness of the company name are good and nicely proportioned.
By the way, I will be getting friends and colleagues to score the top five so as long as you are in this group you will have just as much chance to win as the number one ranked design.
Anyway have a think about it over the next few days and hopefully you come up with something brilliant.
Good luck and thank you for your submission

Cheers

Hello again
I had a look at you site and a Bird design (Picus) which was made up of Mosaic tiles. Really good work.
For something a little different I was wondering if you could provide a couple of concept where the name of the company is made up of mosaic tiles. The words themselves could be tiled or make it look like the name of the company has been tiles into the floor of a swimming pool. You may even be able to create some interesting geometric abstracts.
Anyway it is just a thought and the last thing i want is something that is corny, if you think it has some merit by all means send through concept and we will see if that avenue is worth pursuing.

Cheers

Hello EnzoBluebird,

Thanks for #191 and #192, I think they both have potential, particularly #191, which is why I have ranked it 3rd. This is just a courtesy note to let you know I will be going with the current number 1 ranked design. However I would like to thank you for your participated and I think the designs see submitted are really good. I think a little tweaking is still required but if another pool company requests logos on LogoTournament I think it would be worth your while re-submitting them.
One idea you may consider would be to distort the font that is represented below the water level so that it appears to be distorted by the rippling water.
I hope this helps for the future and again thank you for your great designs
