These are all great! Thanks for all the entries! Choosing a winner will be hard. There are so many different things about these that I like.
Originally in my brief I did not indicate that color was important, and that's why so many of these are b & w. =) I would like to see some designs with color for print, web, and blog use. Since I will also use the logo I choose as my watermark, I'll probably use a b & w version for that (maybe not, I'll need to see how it looks on my images.)
Here's a link to a 20-image portfolio I created for the branding exercise I did. The results of that exercise, as well as discussions with many clients, were that my work creates a feel that is joyful, fresh, and fun. While that feel is important to me, I don't want the logo to feel trendy or too youthful. I think another word to describe the feel I want in my logo is "timeless" as in capturing a moment that makes time stand still. The password for this gallery is "3words".
